I was trying to get information on this new service. ... WOW! told me in chat that I could save on my bill by changing to TV*. I was given a number for the upgrade department and a quick access code. The code works fine to get me in but the number was for tech support. They would not transfer me to the upgrade department. They only offered to troubleshoot an issue or schedule an appointment to send a tech to my home to resolve the issue. i have no issue, just want to talk to someone about TV*. In another chat session I was told to call the main number. I had already tried this and was on hold for an hour and a half before having to hang up. As a matter of fact, the last time I really needed to speak to a rep at WOW! it was three hours before they picked up. They are no longer a company that cares about their customers and have no willingness to help resolve problems.
They gave me a quick access code and a special number to talk to the upgrade department. It turned out I was given a back door to support who could not answer my questions.
Have the upgrade department call me at the number on my account.
I have been with them for probably close to ** years and only contact them when I absolutely need help.
Chat with no help given. Called and have really excessive hold times.
