Booked flights for Virgin Atlantic once in the queue to check in at the Airport we were told that the flights were chartered with Delta Airlines, I am aware of your partnership but I had book specifically for flying on Virgin Atlantic* what preceded was one of the worst airline experiences I have ever had. **Flight: LHR to JFK ***th December departing **:**AM*Flight number: VS**** *Passengers: * * *Outbound flight was unacceptable, the service was extremely poor, all flight attendants were rude and acted as if they would of rather been anywhere else in the world, short tempered, no manners and too busy talking to each other instead of caring for the passengers, i personally witness the same attendant hit a trolly into people * times because she was too busy chatting to the other crew member* this is the first time I've ever seen a flight attendant hit seated passengers in ***years of travel. **An attendent by the name of "Cathy" lied about an incident involving my daughter accidentally spilling a drink stating she did not apologise for splashing her trouser leg and then "tutted" at the fact she had to clean it up. **They accused us of sitting wherever we wanted and attempted to humiliate us over the intercom system repeatedly telling people to sit in the correct seat* we later challenged on this strange repeated announcement for them to confirm that it was aimed at us. We were unable to use our pre-booked seats as they were for a different Aircraft type and were located in different positions than the seating plan sent to me. **We ended up seating in the correct seats according the seating plan given to me during my booking confirmation at the very rear of the plane* but incorrect according to the actual plane layout, My *ft *in Son decided to use the * unused middle row seats at the very rear of the plane when a flight attendant asked if he would vacate these seats incase of and I quote on behalf of what my son was told directly by a crew member "Turbulence for the staff to sit because there are * of us" however on landing at JFK the new reason for the unused seats I was told: "Incase of a passenger health emergency, and it was required by law" furthermore throughout the entire flight all that was left on the seats was a Christmas theme carrier bag and a box of sweets, It was never used by the crew throughout take off or landing or the flight nor did it seem as if they had shortage of seating for themselves. **The cabins lights were off for the duration of this daytime flight only being turned on when a main meal was served, I never experienced a day flight like this. This supported my postulation that the crew wanted to Feed & Water the passengers and complete all their duties as quickly as possible hoping that with the cabin lights off people would turn to sleep and they would have the remainder of the flight to themselves, this was confirmed to myself at the end on approach to JFK for landing that no one member went through the cabin checking seat-belts and tray tables or checking the isle for obstructions. The only concern they had was any passenger items that were left would take * hour to retrieve and this message was relayed on the intercom numerous times. **Our return flight is scheduled to depart* *JFK - LHR:*Monday *th January **** - **:**pm *Flight number: VS*****The booking reference states the return journey is with Virgin Atlantic I expect this to be the case and will not be arriving at JFK to be told we will be now traveling on Delta, and would like some verification on this including the Aircraft type. *On return to the UK I will be filling an official complaint against both operators and will be taking much further if things cannot be resolved for the return journey. **Denise Mckeon
