Our neighborhood in Waterloo, Iowa ([redacted]) including streets Audubon Dr, Caras Rd, Partridge Ln, Red Tail Dr, Harbin Dr, Dakota Dr, Thrush Dr, and more, did not receive mail service on January 6, 7, and 8. I am eagerly awaiting a birthday present for my 3-year-old granddaughter that was meant to be delivered today to [redacted] Thrush Dr. Waterloo, IA [redacted]. It is frustrating to experience such extended delays in mail delivery. Rotation of service among neighborhoods might be a fair solution if there are labor shortages affecting delivery services.

I paid for overnight shipping for my package, which was supposed to arrive by 6 pm yesterday, 1/8/22. However, as of now, it has not been delivered and is still listed as "in transit." I am frustrated by the lack of updates and the fact that I spent $34 for a service that did not meet its guaranteed delivery time. I would like to know the status of my package and request a refund for the inconvenience.

Hello, I wanted to share my recent experience with the delivery of my package under tracking number [redacted][redacted]80. Today, the delivery was attempted, but the carrier indicated in the paperwork that there was no access to the location, despite me being home and available. My name is Greson E. Guzmán, and you can call me Manny if needed. It appears the delivery person did not ring the doorbell. I kindly request that the delivery driver, who might be new, be informed to ring the doorbell at Apartment 8 tomorrow. I will be present at home all day. Overall, I appreciate the service provided in the past, but this particular instance was disappointing. Thank you for your assistance.

We recently received a notice from the post office requesting an address change without providing sufficient information or professional communication. Our address used to be [redacted] Palermo Rose Lane SW in Olympia, Washington [redacted], but we were instructed to change it to [redacted] Palermo Drive SW. Despite updating our address, packages are now either being returned or delivered to unknown locations. This has caused confusion and inconvenience. I have discovered that utility bills are also facing similar delivery issues on our road. I am uncertain whom to contact at the post office for assistance in rectifying this situation. I am concerned about the implications of this sudden address change and I would like to know how to file a complaint with the OIG to address this matter. Your guidance and assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Recently, I had an issue with my mail delivery being interrupted for about a week. I waited for almost 3 hours by the mailboxes until the postal delivery person finally arrived. I politely greeted him and explained my challenges including post-surgery recovery, flu, asthma, pneumonia, and migraines over the past two months. Despite my attempts to address this through an online USPS inquiry, the situation escalated with the regular mailman. I acknowledged any inconvenience caused but emphasized the genuine medical reasons for not being able to check my mail regularly due to my health conditions. However, the mailman responded rudely, insisting on daily mail checks. As a result, I still haven't received my mail, and USPS failed to provide me with proper notification regarding the issue, leading to the misunderstanding that my mailbox was "vacant" when it was actually empty.

I completed a change of address online in mid-December to start mail forwarding on December 28th. My confirmation code is 2[redacted] 0[redacted]. Today, I called to inquire about why I haven't been getting my forwarded mail. I was asked to submit a Service Request, and I received an email stating that a change of address hasn't been processed. However, I did receive mail confirming the change of address with the given confirmation code. Our house in NJ has been sold, and we now live in KY, but our buyer is still getting our mail. I might need to ask a former neighbor to forward important mail at an additional cost. I urgently need my mail forwarding to start working.

I have been informed that a new cellphone is on its way to me via USPS. However, a text message requested an additional $1 for delivery, which I paid. Despite this, the phone has not arrived. After agreeing to another delivery attempt, they asked for another $1. Feeling suspicious, I'm trying to verify the tracking number [redacted][redacted]00 provided, but it's being rejected. Unsure if this is a scam, I'm trying to gather more information. I am confused and seeking clarity on whether this is a legitimate tracking number issue or potential fraud. I believe the USPS website may hold more answers. Contact me at beckybannon @yahoo. com. Additionally, the USPS automated system is having difficulties recognizing the tracking number given.

I contacted USPS regarding my recent package delivery mishap. According to USPS, the incorrect address on the package led to the delivery issue. However, I received notifications about the delivery details via email and text messages, so I find it hard to believe the blame falls on the shipper. I have been a loyal customer of the shipper for over 8 years, so I trust their service. USPS should take responsibility for this error and rectify their mail carrier's mistake promptly. If USPS does not resolve this matter, I will not hesitate to pursue legal action against them to address this issue.

I received an email saying my mailbox closure would cost $[redacted]. However, when I contacted the post office at [redacted] Paul Maillard Road in Luling Louisiana, they mentioned the fee has increased to $[redacted], possibly a bit more, and a late fee would be added. The email I got did not mention the updated fee or any late charges. My records only show the initial amount of $[redacted].

I shipped a package from Bucyrus, Ohio to Christian Appalachian Project in Lexington, Kentucky on 12/31/21 via USPS. I used Registered Priority Mail as advised by the postal worker for safety, expecting delivery in 3 days. However, upon tracking it on the third day, I discovered that it had been redirected to Cleveland, Ohio where it remained for 13 days. The package then bounced between Louisville, Kentucky, Lexington, Kentucky, and even St. Louis, Missouri. Currently, it is out for delivery in St. Louis, despite being addressed to a P.O. Box in Lexington, Kentucky. The package contained checks, cash, and gift cards intended for tornado victims. I am frustrated with the lack of assistance from USPS as I cannot reach a live person to resolve this situation.

I'm seeking clarification about the current status of postal package deliveries. The postal service's organization seems lacking. When my orders are handled by USPS, I worry as they never arrive punctually. The ongoing delays predate the Covid pandemic. An example is from [redacted] when a gift I ordered early through Amazon for a friend's birthday arrived late despite two-day Prime delivery. Currently, a package was supposed to arrive on the 18th in Cedar Rapids but was sent back and forth between facilities. It's frustrating to see it move from the destination to the distribution center multiple times and face unnecessary delays.

I am currently experiencing an issue with a package that shows as "picked up" at the post office but wasn't by me. I contacted the Lindsay Oklahoma Post Office and was waiting for a call back from the postmaster for two days. After following up, the person I spoke with asked for tracking numbers of previous packages, which I provided. However, when I tried to give her the tracking number of the package that was supposedly picked up but not by me, she abruptly ended the call, citing being busy with customers in the store. I believe there was a lack of professionalism in how my concern was handled, especially since I called first and was not the one to hang up. As a customer, I expect better service and transparency regarding the whereabouts of my mail.

The festus, MO post office carriers damaged my mailbox and declined to repair or replace it. Despite seeking someone to fix it, I was informed they couldn't as it is USPS property. Consequently, I have not received my mail for about a month. The post master, Candy, mentioned I couldn't place my mail on hold again. To address the issue, I instructed them to return mail to the sender. Due to mailbox theft, I purchased a lockable one, which was also damaged by the carriers. Subsequently, a post master refused to hand over my package, as it had already been sent back an hour earlier. I am puzzled by the actions of this post office. Is it allowed for employees to withhold mail legally?

Dear Stamps, I am writing on behalf of Yes4All LLC regarding our account, yes4all_2020. We have some inquiries that we hope you can assist us with. We are curious about the timeframe for USPS to update their website with the status "USPS received the package" after our warehouse has handed it to your USPS carrier. We have noticed delays in the update of tracking IDs and would like to know when we can expect this status to be reflected accurately. In addition, we are seeking clarification on how USPS calculates the insured amount to be paid out for lost packages. For instance, if the unit cost is $90 and shipping cost is $14.5, what would be the total claim amount approved by USPS? Are there specific rules or contracts governing this process? If so, we would appreciate guidance on how to proceed with a claim. We are open to discussing any questions or concerns you may have and eagerly await your prompt response. Thank you for your assistance. Warm regards, Tracy Yes4All LLC

On January 24, [redacted], I was expecting certified mail tracking number 7[redacted] 0[redacted] [redacted], but it was marked as delivered online, even though I didn't receive it personally. I requested proof of delivery through a live chat and received an email with no signature included. As the sole resident at this address, I'm concerned that the carrier may have scanned the letter without handing it over. I would appreciate it if this issue could be investigated. If a signature is required for delivery, I expect the carrier to obtain a valid signature, rather than making marks in place. I feel this situation needs to be addressed promptly to locate the missing certified mail.

I mailed a package from the UK to my daughter in the US in December. The tracking information has shown it going back and forth between depots near her. The last update indicated that it was back in London Heathrow on Jan 15th and now in transit to her again. I realize I made a mistake by omitting part of the address. My daughter contacted USPS a couple of weeks ago, but they said only the sender can make address changes. I attempted to email USPS, but the UK support is only set up for USA customers. Calling them is too costly. I just need to inform someone to amend the address label on the parcel so it can be delivered. Hopefully, there is an email address I can reach out to for assistance.

My Priority Mail package was supposed to be delivered to [redacted] Kendall Rd Suite A, San Luis Obispo, CA 93[redacted], but it ended up in Florida. I filed claims for missing mail and insurance but haven't heard anything. I checked online to find out my claim was denied because they claimed it was delivered, which is not true since it went to the wrong address in a different state. The item is a valuable vintage Gucci handbag worth over $[redacted]. The delivery attempt was made on a Sunday when the business was closed, and instead of trying again on Monday, it was mistakenly sent to West Palm Beach, Florida. It doesn't make sense why it wasn't returned to me as the sender.

There have been irregular mail deliveries in our area lately. This month, mail has not been delivered on Saturdays, and on some Fridays and Mondays. This week, we only received mail on Tuesday and Wednesday. Despite our mail being scanned daily, our neighborhood seems to be skipped frequently. Today, I witnessed the mail truck drive past our street without stopping. Additionally, some coupons have gone missing from our mail, leading me to suspect our carrier might be responsible. I have already contacted the post office about this issue.

Regarding PO Box [redacted] in Hilliard, OH, a customer expressed frustration with a sudden rate increase from $67 to $83 without prior notice. The customer received conflicting renewal notices, expecting the $67 rate until January 31st but finding the increased amount when checking the box. They highlight the issue of changing terms unilaterally and request fair treatment according to the initial agreement, threatening legal action if their box rental and mail are affected. The customer urges a prompt resolution to avoid negative consequences and suggests adhering to agreed rates for loyal customers to maintain trust and avoid potential legal repercussions.

I am concerned about the post office's protocol for delivering large packages that do not fit in the mailbox, as evidenced by the way my local carrier handled one. Today, it was left at the base of my mailbox, near the roadside. This method seems risky and could result in the package being stolen or falsely marked as delivered. I trust this is not standard practice and hope that a conversation with the carrier can prevent this from reoccurring. Unfortunately, I am unable to attach a photo to illustrate the situation, but I wanted to raise awareness of this issue nonetheless.
