I spoke to a representative at that time and they turned it back on and noted on the account that I would be able to make a transfer for $**** to a different bank account (a Wells Fargo checking account), which would allow me to access the funds without difficulty. I tried to make the transfer again and despite talking to them it didn't go through. The account I hold with US Bank isn't a normal checking account, it is an account setup by the state of Oregon Justice Department that deposits money into the account that my ex-husband pays to the state for child support. My inability to access this money makes it very difficult to get by... I depend on that money to help pay bills and raise the kids. I have no way of accessing it... This has been a problem for so long that there is $**** just sitting in that account when I only receive $*** dollar payments. When the card is on I can make smaller regular purchases but can't pay my bills with it since it isn't a standard checking account. Unfortunately U.S. Bank is a primarily a west coast bank or I would've just walked into a branch to solve this. I have also tried withdrawing money from ATM's but to no avail. The closest branch to me is states away since I live in Virginia. The online website can't be used to solve this problem since this not a standard bank account. They have no customer support email option or live chat option. I have now called three times and been left on hold for various times between *-* hours and never had anyone actually pick up the call, I just wait on hold listening to music. I am always told at the beginning of the call that there are higher than normal wait times so I have done my best to be patient. **I WOULD BEYOND APPRECIATIVE IF YOU CAN HELP ME. Thank you!
To fix this problem I need my card to be tuned back on and I need to find a way to transfer money out of this account even if I need to do it in.
Calling customer service a week or so ago and having them turning it back on the first time. That resulted in them turning it back on AND them notating the account so that I wouldn't run across this issue again.
