i opened an account with td ameritrade a month ago i guess it was, give or take a day or two. anyways i went through so many unprofessional events with them that i should have closed my account. however , didnt and gave them the benefit of the doubt. well one day they just up and closed my account they say due to fraud!!!!i was shocked. the only thing that i did that i can see was wrong was i gave my account number to insurance company to pay for insurance preminum for my sisterinlaw. ameritrade not only wouldnt pay the bill, but they told the insurance company there was no money in account. made me really look stupid. then i learned on my own i should have signed up for bill pay or something of this sort. it was my mistake but i wasnt even given any time to explain nothing to anyone. make the long story short., they closed my account due to fraud. i tried calling numerous times to get an e xplanation as to why they closed my account and i couldnt get any answer from anyone. i have had it with this bank. i have a balance of over ****.** in my account and i want my funds sent to me in a form of a check to my address on file. i have asked numerous times., i have talked to numerous people, i have been promised a call back and nothing, absolutely nothing has happened. i still cant get an explanatiion on to whjy my account was c*losed. i dont have enough time in my life to ecxplain all the stuff i went through with this bank. alll i want is whats mine. and thats my ****.** plus dollars that i had in my account. they refuse to answer me . however, the other day i did get an email from them and they (new accounts) had no record of me having any such account. i am so through with this bank its not even funny. they even made my money available for withdrawl at one time, then took it back out and i thought i was losing my mind. come to find out, they would admit to this, but they made it available too soon and only because i told the customer service rep i had a screen shot of the money in my account for withdrawl , that he felt the need to tell me the truth. they lost my faxs i sent to them of my id (state id) so i could get a debit card. i sent them three to three different places and they still lost them. they are terrible. i am trying to do this without involving my attorney, but they just dont want to send me my money and i am real upset. i do not want to talk to them, go to them, or anything of the sort having to do with them . i have wasted enough time and effort and all i get is played around with and transferrred. i want my money sent to me asap. i am ** years old and i am too old to have to go through all this difficult stuff. please can you see if you can get them to send my money to me or otherwise i will let my attorney handle this. i just might let my attorney handlel it anyway since they will never answer me and i icould be drawing interest in another bank somewhere else. they can also transfer my fiunds to my new account, however, i dont know if i trust them enough to have my account number. even if i do proceed with my attorney, i am wanting this to be out in the open for other people that are having problems with thenm so maybe they will bank somewhere else. thank you for your time.
