I believe my account was compromised. During a game of Rocket League 1v1, a player invited me to join a doubles tournament. After adding me, they shared a link leading to a website asking for my Steam account details. Upon trying to log in, I realized my password was incorrect. When attempting to reset it, I was informed that my email and phone number were no longer associated with the account. Despite knowing my account name, upon entering it, I'm shown an unfamiliar email address. Selecting "I don't have access to that email" prompts me to re-enter my password, creating a frustrating cycle. The account in question is ndb73.

I have been consistently receiving emails concerning a long-forgotten Steam account that I previously thought was closed. The communication includes SteamGuard codes for accessing the account. The recent email states there was an attempted login from an IP address in Vietnam, while I am based in the U.S. I suspect unauthorized activity by hackers. I request prompt assistance from Valve/Steam to address this security concern. Upon resolution, I prefer a live agent to contact me at [redacted]. Thank you.

I recently purchased FIFA 21 for my new PC and installed both Steam and Origin, but unfortunately, the game won't launch. I have tried troubleshooting, updating my graphics driver, and even contacted EA for help. Despite sharing my Msinfo with them, the issue remains unresolved. I am now attempting to get a refund for the game, but I am unable to receive it on the original payment card. I would greatly appreciate it if a refund could be issued as I have exhausted all possible solutions and have been unable to play FIFA since yesterday. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Hello. I have been playing Ark: Survival Evolved on Xbox for a while, but the game's performance is not as smooth as the PC version. To address this, I got the Steam version for my PC. However, I am encountering significant challenges. The Steam version is plagued with cheaters who disrupt the gameplay experience for legitimate players. It appears that there is a lack of enforcement against cheating, making it frustrating to progress in the game. Additionally, frequent crashes not only affect the game but sometimes crash my entire PC. These issues, combined with persistent bugs despite the game being out for a long time, have made it unplayable for me. I am seeking a refund for Ark: Survival Evolved, but I am facing obstacles as Steam is indicating that the game was a gift, even though I purchased it myself. Communicating with Steam support to resolve this matter has proven difficult.

I have been struggling to log into my Steam account and when trying to reset my password, it seems like my account has been hacked. The email associated with it is not my usual Gmail but possibly from my Hotmail account. I mainly use Gmail for my Steam accounts. I had issues with my GTAV account being hacked previously. I am unsure how to proceed to recover my Steam account. I believe I can provide relevant information as I have faced credit card fraud twice online. The profile linked to my Rockstar account is associated with my Steam account under the name RaveLost. Due to a broken keyboard, I apologize if there are any mistakes. My Steam sign-in name is RAVENBLACKLISTED with the password Splash7890 until the hack. My GTAV account username is Th3D3vilsR3j3ctz. The PC I use is an MSI Apache Pro. After managing to link my GTAV to Rockstar, I struggled to locate my Rockstar Social Club account until last year. I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter.

I recently noticed 3 unauthorized trade transactions on my account involving my Tf2 items being sent to "gribochek," "TRADEIT.GG - BOT #30," and "Johan." My account seems compromised despite having the Steam authenticator in place and not sharing any login details. I understand the no-duplication policy but I am requesting a refund or reversal of these trades, particularly the one where I lost all my items to prevent further losses. I have not received any emails regarding these trades and suspect a compromise. I urge Steam client support for assistance as I am greatly concerned about this breach.

I am writing this email regarding an issue I experienced on Discord. A user named McJordan#[redacted] contacted me, claiming to have been scammed €[redacted] on Steam, and mistakenly reported me instead of the actual scammer. He directed me to contact a user named Solo#[redacted] to resolve the situation. After contacting Solo, I provided a Steam ticket as requested by McJordan, leading to a series of requests, including sharing screenshots of Steam purchases containing my username and sharing my Steam recovery account code. This resulted in Solo changing the email, password, and phone number associated with my account. Unfortunately, I only noticed something was wrong when asked to provide money at the end of the conversation. I have included screenshots of my conversations with both scammers in the files below. My old email is [redacted], and my username is deliriouzzoldier. I am aware that the Discord user Solo is not affiliated with the Steam team. I am hopeful that my account can be reverted to the original email, [redacted] I look forward to a prompt response. Regards, Pelle Mertens

I was contacted out of the blue on discord by McJordan#[redacted], who claims to have been scammed on Steam for €[redacted],-. He mistakenly reported me instead of the real scammer. He provided me with a Steam report and the name of the person I should contact to resolve the issue (the first scammer is McJordan#[redacted] and the second is Solo#[redacted]). After messaging Solo on discord, they requested a Steam ticket from McJordan, which I sent to them. They asked for screenshots of Steam purchases with my username and my Steam recovery account code, which they used to change the email, password, & phone number. I unfortunately missed the red flags and ended up sending them money at the end. I have screenshots of the conversations with both scammers on discord available. My old email is [redacted] and my username is deliriouzzoldier. I understand that the Solo on discord is not the same as the one on Steam. My account's email, password, & phone number have been changed. I would like to have my account restored to my original email: [redacted] Thank you for your attention to this matter. Regards, Pelle Mertens.

I encountered numerous issues with the original edition of the game at launch, such as low framerates, bugs, and visual glitches, which made it impossible for me to progress past the first "open" segment. Despite meeting the PC requirements, the game did not run smoothly. Hopes were high for the Enhanced Edition, but unfortunately, it was even worse and crashed my PC upon launch. I made several attempts to play the game on upgraded PCs without success. As a fan of the previous games in the series, I was determined to see this through, but my patience wore thin. Despite having 5 hours of playtime (due to a known bug where the game runs in the background after being closed), I spent much of that time adjusting graphical settings to make the game playable.

I bought "Dragon Age 2" on Steam on May 12th for $4.99 (invoice [redacted][redacted]48). I have been enjoying the game without issues. However, I also purchased the DLC Bundle for $24.99 (invoice [redacted][redacted]96), but after downloading the content, it's marked as "unavailable" in-game, making it unplayable. Despite contacting EA Games support following Steam's instructions, they are unable to help as they have no record of the DLC purchase linked to my account. I seek either a refund of the $24.99 for the inaccessible DLC or assistance in having Steam update EA Games about my purchase to activate it. Despite two refund requests, I've been denied due to exceeding 2 hours of playtime. I'm hoping for a solution.

I recently fell victim to a scam involving my entire csgo inventory. I was deceived into sending it to a friend or second account under the pretense of needing to empty it for a tournament. However, once the items were transferred, the individual promptly removed me from all connections. After investigating, I discovered that a bot with the same username as the recipient now possesses all my items. These skins amount to $1,[redacted] of hard-earned money. I am currently able to view the items in the bot's inventory. I hope to retrieve my possessions, as losing them would mean all my efforts and earnings would be in vain. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

I am experiencing issues with Steam. As a loyal customer for many years, I am frustrated with the lack of live customer support and the excessive verifications required to log in. It is incredibly time-consuming and last night, I spent over an hour trying to access my account. Dealing with the constant captcha errors is aggravating, and I feel like I am being misled in trying to merge multiple accounts over the years. This has been an ongoing problem for me, and I am fed up. I hope these issues can be resolved promptly. Thank you. - R.T. [redacted].

My son was unknowingly targeted by a scammer on Discord who falsely claimed he was banned from Steam. The scammer manipulated him into giving away his login details by showing a fake picture with his username supposedly banned. They altered the email associated with his account and cut off phone support, then demanded $[redacted] in Steam cards to avoid deletion. We are uncertain if his account has been deleted or is still under the scammer's control. Our goal is for Steam to assist us in reclaiming his account. His user ID is 0217King, initial email on Steam: [redacted], recent email: [redacted]

I am Bettie P. I purchased Steam cards on the Walmart website. Recently, I bought them in-store without realizing there was a limit of 4 cards per transaction. Consequently, only 4 were activated while the remaining 6 were not. Despite my credit card being charged, the 6 cards did not activate. As the service desk was closed, I was unable to resolve this issue immediately. When I returned the next day, the clerk mentioned Walmart couldn't assist once items have left the store. Now, I am left with 6 inactive $[redacted].00 Steam cards, amounting to $[redacted].00. Is there a way to activate the cards or receive a refund? Assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Today, between 3 - 4 PM EST, I received a message on Discord from KAEL#[redacted] claiming to have mistakenly reported my Steam account for fraudulent activity. Unfortunately, I fell for this deceitful act and engaged with a person named Solo#[redacted] through Discord to resolve the issue. Despite my initial trust, Solo#[redacted] manipulated me into providing my Steam Guard authentication code, allowing unauthorized access to my account. Subsequently, Solo#[redacted] changed my account credentials and demanded payment in the form of Steam gift cards. I am now facing distress and uncertainty as I suspect Solo#[redacted] to be masquerading as a Steam Support representative to perpetrate a scam. Feeling overwhelmed, I urgently seek assistance to address this fraudulent situation. I am unable to access my account presently, and I implore for guidance in dealing with this distressing ordeal.

A person recently contacted me claiming I was reported for an activity I did not engage in and provided the contact details of a moderator. I had minimal interactions within the community and no involvement in any trades or VAC-related matters. After reaching out to the moderator, I underwent an account holder verification process. However, one step required me to pay Steam half the value of games in my library, amounting to $[redacted] ([redacted] RON), even for games obtained through promotional offers. This request seemed suspicious, leading me to decline the payment, which unfortunately resulted in my account being closed. I still possess the conversation history with the moderator, including their name. Is there any possible way to regain access to my account?

I bought two $50 Steam gift cards for a friend. When my friend tried to redeem them shortly after, one was successful, but the other said it had already been redeemed. Steam support was unhelpful and suggested getting a refund from the distributor. The distributor doesn't refund used cards and mentioned Steam is aware of this issue, believing duplicated codes may be the cause. The distributor directed me back to support, who offered no refund or replacement. This kind of error could result in Steam profiting from duplicated codes at the expense of customers. My experience with Steam and their support was disappointing.

Hello, I need help regarding a scam that has affected my Steam account, which I've had for over 6 years. A friend on Discord linked me to a trade for CS:GO, and despite the trade seeming legitimate, I realized too late that the URL was suspicious. The scammer now has control over my account, changed the email, password, and phone number, and has even banned me from Steam after downloading cheats. I've tried to communicate with the hacker, but they have altered my profile completely. I can provide the card used for the account as verification and have the original account details. Any assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

A user with the handle TomB (ValveAdmin) has gained unauthorized access to my Steam account and has been sending me threatening messages all day. They are trying to extort money from me in exchange for my account. They are also threatening to expose my personal information online, allowing anyone to use my payment details to steal money. I have reached out to Steam multiple times for assistance because I am currently locked out of my account, but I have yet to receive a response. I even tried contacting them via phone with no success.

After finishing a game of CSGO, my account got logged out. Despite saved login credentials, I couldn't sign in - getting an "incorrect account name or password" message. Despite no recent changes in my passwords, I followed the steps to reset it and even changed my email, but still couldn't access my account. I tried the Steam Guard Mobile authenticator, but it also didn't work. I'm at a loss for what to do next as I've exhausted all possible solutions on my end.
