I have a Skype number ([redacted]) and account. The process involves forwarding my cell number to my Skype number. However, when I arrive in Thailand, I need to set up a local phone service. I will then get a new SIM card and replace the one in my phone. After this change, my phone number will switch to a Thai number, which may affect incoming calls. Additionally, I am unsure about the process for making return calls to the USA. I have both the Skype app on my iPhone and laptop.

Hi there! I'm experiencing an issue with one of my Skype contacts. I can only chat with them in private, as my messages in the normal version are not being delivered. Whenever I send a message in the normal version, it shows a moving circle with the text "sending," but the message is not received by my contact. However, my contact can send me messages in both versions, and I receive all of them without any issue. Can you assist me in resolving this problem?

Hello. I have been using Skype for many years and have trusted your service. For the first time, I encountered an unauthorized deduction from my account. In November, I had approximately 7 euros in my account. I did not make any Skype-to-phone calls since then. However, I noticed that almost all the money had disappeared, leaving only 0.02 euros! I have been trying to reach out to you for several weeks, but your customer service system is quite complex, and I only managed to do so now. Skype also requested me to change my account settings and started sending codes to my email that were not accepted by the system. I am requesting clarification regarding the email and, most importantly, to correct the apparent technical error by Skype and return my money to my account. I recently discovered someone impersonating me using my personal videos on Skype. Law enforcement was unable to assist, leaving me unsure of how to handle the situation. I observed a chat and possibly a video call taking place using my identity. This is new to me as I am unfamiliar with Skype, and I never intended for my private videos and photos to be shared. I have decided to delete my Skype account and the associated email address to prevent further misuse. It's concerning that someone had access to my videos, even though they were not physically me.

Another number, ****-***-****, is also associated with my account, but I am unsure of its purpose. I need urgent clarification on which number to use to receive calls. Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, ich möchte mein Skype-Konto "niemeyer12" sowie die zugehörige World-Flat zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt oder sofort kündigen. Zuletzt wurde dieses Konto im August [redacted] genutzt, bevor es versehentlich mit dem inaktiven Konto [redacted] meiner chinesischen Frau verknüpft wurde. Über paypal wurden seitdem ungefähr [redacted],85€ von meinem Girokonto abgebucht, ohne dass ich den Dienst genutzt habe. Damals hatte ich mehrfach Kontakt mit dem Skype-Support unter der Referenznummer "SRX[redacted]ID - Blocked Account Kontosperre". I have been your customer for many years and used your services to communicate with my family outside of Estonia. I did this through my home computer and made automatic payments with my credit card. Suddenly, since 10.09.21, you have been charging me 4.80 euros without my knowledge, and an icon for SKYPE appeared on my mobile screen. I immediately contacted you to explain that I don't need this service on my mobile and I am satisfied with using it on my home computer, but you continued to charge me. Nowadays, I don't use Skype, you have disabled SKYPE for me on my home computer. In short - I kindly request that you refund 27.60 euros back to my account EE [redacted][redacted]9 (Alissa Zurabjan), which consists of 24.00 euros for 5 months of unused service and 3.60 euros not yet utilized on my computer. It's so unpleasant to have to write about all of this!

Good morning, I use the email [redacted] for my Skype account to make calls to the United Kingdom. I subscribed to a limited calling plan for the UK, but my account got blocked due to suspicious activity. I am unable to access my account to cancel the subscription I want to pay for. It is frustrating not being able to manage my subscription. I request assistance to access my Outlook Skype account and cancel the unlimited plan for landlines in the UK. Hello, I recently received two unusual emails. One mentioned that my Skype Credit is active again, and the other provided purchase details related to an old account I used to have, "realenviousmonster". The email listed a charge for a "Moldova 60 mins landlines - monthly subscription" at [redacted] Kr per month, with an order number [redacted][redacted]15. Initially, I thought it was a fraud, but when I checked my Skype history, I found nothing suspicious. However, I noticed the old username was being used. When I tried to log in using "realenviousmonster," I discovered an unfamiliar email address linked to the account: "hf*****@laste.ml." I haven't accessed this account in years, so I am puzzled about why I am suddenly receiving a charge report now. It's concerning that my old account is being utilized without my knowledge, leading me to question how this could happen after such a long period of inactivity.

I have been charged by Skype for unauthorized transactions. Upon reviewing my account, I discovered it is listed under a man in NY, while I am a single female in Florida. I contacted on 2/17 to request cancellation of any association with my account, yet I found two withdrawals of $[redacted] each on that day from individuals I do not recognize, with payments made on 2/18, 2/20, and 2/21 under the same account name. I am confused as to why charges are appearing under the name Mario Moran in Westbury, NY, and I demand this to be ceased immediately. Unauthorized withdrawals have occurred from my bank account, along with charges on an unauthorized credit card. I await your prompt response to my email regarding this matter.

PayPal Issue with Unauthorized Charges: I have not made any purchases. Despite canceling my Skype service on February 11, [redacted] (confirmed by Skype on the same day), PayPal fraudulently charged me $29.94 on March 6, [redacted] - after the cancellation and 23 days before my renewal date of March 6. After reporting this to Skype on March 6, they agreed to refund the amount, but as of March 13, I'm yet to receive it. I also filed a dispute with PayPal on March 6, but they denied it on March 8, claiming they extended my subscription without my consent and created misleading emails. On March 9, I escalated the matter to Wells Fargo Bank to address the unauthorized charge. I fear PayPal may not refund the money unless Skype repays them. Your advice is appreciated.

I am struggling to receive calls as my phone does not ring for incoming calls. I urgently need assistance with this matter. Skype has informed me that my account will renew in April, but I refuse to make any payments until this problem is resolved. I feel Microsoft, being a large corporation, overlooks these minor issues given their substantial resources. I am unwilling to pay for additional support when I am already experiencing service disruptions. I may have to switch to another phone provider that offers comprehensive services and reliable customer support for all issues.

I received this email from PayPal stating that a payment of $5.00 USD was sent to Skype Communications Sarl at [redacted] The transaction ID is 76N19666JX722804T, and the transaction date was Mar 15, [redacted], at 15:58:47 PDT. I wish to dispute this charge as I do not engage in video calls or online visual communications due to my age of 84. I do not possess the necessary equipment or technical skills, and I have no intention of acquiring them. Kindly cease any current and future charges as I am not a willing Skype subscriber and have no interest in becoming one. Please take me off any related services. My name is Marvin McConoughey.

I am having trouble accessing my account due to an old mobile phone number being associated with it: +1 [redacted]. Changing this information through the mobile app requires more details than online banking. I frequently switch SIM cards as I travel. I have paid for a U.S. phone number: +1 [redacted]. Your company successfully deducts $52.26 annually from my Paypal account, with the last deduction on 11/12/21. I also pay for my wife's number from the same Paypal account, phone number: +1 [redacted]. When I call either number from my mobile, I get the message: "This number does not exist." I prefer to access my account through email verification rather than a text message to an old number. Additionally, I want the U.S. phone numbers I pay for to be recognized as valid. I rely on this service occasionally and need it to be dependable. Thank you for your assistance.

I recently noticed unauthorized charges on my account from Skype.com. The bank's fraud center alerted me about two charges, one for $10 and the other for $5, made on my debit card on the 20th of May. I have never used Skype and did not authorize these transactions. To address this issue, my bank blocked my current card and issued a new one. However, I am seeking information on what these charges were for, who made them, and how to obtain a refund for the money taken. When contacting customer service, I encountered a representative who requested my credit card number, making me uncomfortable. I am hopeful that this matter can be resolved promptly. I need to cancel a Skype account due to unforeseen circumstances. John O has been unable to use his account for months due to health issues. He is currently in a dementia care facility undergoing dialysis. Despite his inability to use the service, he is still being billed. I am trying to manage his affairs and would appreciate guidance on how to cancel the account. I have access to his Skype account but cannot find the cancel feature. My Skype account has been hacked. It was stolen and linked to another email address. My friends are receiving messages asking for money. I've tried multiple times to fill out the standard form on the website, but I can't regain control of the account. They say I haven't provided enough information to verify. I have used this account for over 10 years and now I can't get it back. The account is lg240184svi. I created it in Ukraine when I lived in Luhansk. For the past few years, I've been living in Cherkasy, Ukraine. I am reaching out from the same computer where I have been using this account for the last year, and I also tried sending information from the phone where this account was active. I have provided Skype usernames of my contacts to confirm along with the password I used until recently. My photo is on the Skype avatar, and I can provide a current photo. Why is it so easy to steal an account but impossible to recover it?

I've had this account for over 10 years, originally created in Ukraine when I lived in Lugansk. For the past few years, I have been living in Cherkassy, Ukraine. I topped up my Skype account with $10, but the credit didn't show up. I tried multiple times, totaling $50, still with no success. After contacting Skype Customer Service, they promised to refund $40 and credit my account with $10. However, as of now, my account still shows $0 and no refund has been issued. I am unable to make calls abroad.Despite receiving a ticket number for reference, nothing has been resolved yet.
