I rented two cars recently using Rentalcars ref # [redacted]5 for September 12 to October 8 and ref # [redacted]53 for October 8 to October 29. The quoted price given by Rentalcars.com was in dollars, but when I checked my credit card statement, the charges were in pounds and converted to dollars, showing a higher amount. The rental was with Europcar in Manchester, UK, booked through Rentalcars. I used my United mileage credit card and was advised by Europcar to get additional insurance for tire repairs, as burst tires were not covered by my card. After returning to the USA, I found out that my credit card did cover burst tire repairs. I would like clarification on these discrepancies, especially regarding the insurance I was sold unnecessarily. Thank you. - F. Kinsella

I made a booking error on Rentalcars.com for two identical reservations (#[redacted]59 & [redacted]64) due to a credit card keying issue while trying to make the first reservation. Priceline was unable to locate the rentals on their system to cancel them. Thrifty mentioned that Priceline needs to cancel them, but they cannot see the reservations. Priceline advised me to contact Rentalcars.com to resolve the issue. I am requesting both reservations to be canceled as no one can cancel just one of them, and no one can even locate the bookings. Please email me a resolution to this problem, or confirm the cancellations. If this is not resolved, consider this email as a request to cancel both reservations and send me a confirmation. I will opt for a more reliable car rental service in the future. Thank you. - JW

Dear Officer, I am writing to share our recent experience on Aeromexico flights from Vancouver to Guadalajara on November 4 and 18, [redacted]. Our interactions at the Guadalajara airport were positive, with caring and helpful staff. Unfortunately, our November 4 flight was delayed 5½ hours at YVR without adequate compensation, except for a $19 food voucher. The communication from the airline was unclear, as it was in Spanish and incomplete. Despite arriving 3½ hours early as directed, we experienced a lack of communication about the delay, leading to a 10-hour wait at the airport. This delay caused significant hardship, especially for my vision-impaired husband. Furthermore, our baggage arrived damaged in Guadalajara. We were also disappointed that passengers with disabilities and infants were not prioritized for boarding in Mexico City. I made a reservation for a rental car in Naha, Okinawa, from November 20th to November 27th with reservation number [redacted]19. When I arrived to pick up the Honda Fit from Orix and presented my Ohio driver's license, I was informed that I needed an international driver's license, which the USA does not issue. As each state issues its own licenses and the US Federal government does not provide international licenses, Orix refused to give me the vehicle. I am requesting a refund of $[redacted], which includes insurance. I have attempted to contact Rentalcars.com at [redacted] and [redacted]-44-[redacted] without success. When I made my reservation, I selected a pick-up time of 12:00 pm and a drop-off time of 5:00 pm, but the system is showing 10:00 am for both, which is inaccurate. My reference number at Fox Rental is [redacted]93, confirmation NPRL830A47, and the total cost is $[redacted].08 including taxes and fees. Despite contacting them multiple times, the issue persists. I need the reservation to reflect the correct times: pick-up at 12:00 pm on Dec 5th when my flight arrives at 11:25 am, and drop-off at 5:00 pm with a flight departure at 8:03 pm. Rentalcars.com claims great customer service, but I haven't experienced it yet. I simply want to rent the SUV at the agreed price with the correct reservation.

I paid for a car rental through Rental Cars two weeks prior to picking up the car. However, upon arriving at Durban airport just before midnight, I was informed by a Thrifty Car Rental representative that they could not accept my bank card and refused to provide me with the car I had booked. I was stranded and left without a car, forcing me to seek an alternative car rental service to secure transportation. I am seeking a refund for the amount I originally paid.

The pickup time indicated at 10:00am is incorrect as our flight, W64428, is scheduled to arrive at 13:05 as stated on the order form and reservation. Given the uncertainties of flight timings and airport procedures in Bulgaria, I kindly request the pickup time to be rescheduled to 14:00. I made a car reservation on Rentalcars.com for a Toyota Corolla to be picked up at Cape Town Airport on December 19 and returned on December 31. Although the payment was deducted on November 9, I have not yet received the booking confirmation. The reservation is under the name of Stanton P. with Sharlene P. listed as the co-driver. I picked up my rental car in Quito from Avis a couple of hours ago. I am currently in Otavalo, and unfortunately, the reverse gear is not functioning. Even a taxi driver tried but was unable to engage reverse. I have contacted AVIS, but I am still awaiting a callback after 45 minutes. I am in a precarious situation on a side street in an unsafe area, and as a solo female traveler, I am concerned. I urgently need advice on exchanging the car for one that is in proper working order. I need correction on drop-off location. I booked a Toyota Corolla for Thursday to Saturday through the Agoda Car Rental mobile app. I scheduled pickup at San Diego Airport and drop-off in Anaheim, Los Angeles. However, upon checking the payment summary after completing the transaction, I noticed that both pickup and drop-off are listed as San Diego Airport, which is not what I intended. The payment has already been charged to my card, and I only possess the confirmation number [redacted]68. I made a reservation on rentalcars.com and confirmed the facility's hours for car pick-up. Upon arrival, there was no staff at the desk. I tried other desks and then went to the car deck as instructed, but still found no one available. Despite multiple attempts to contact the rental company and rentalcars.com, I couldn't reach anyone for assistance. Unfortunately, I was unable to get the car I had prepaid for and had to cancel my weekend trip as a result of the situation. It's been frustrating not being able to resolve this issue or speak with a representative.

I canceled car rental Reservation # [redacted]71 at Mohamed V Airport in Casablanca, Morocco. Upon arrival, I contacted Mr. Newfal from Poland Rentalcars office at +[redacted]81. He informed me that my refund will be issued in two phases. The rental fee minus the cancellation fee of $45 was promptly credited back to my BBVA Compass credit card. However, the car insurance refund of $[redacted] has not been processed yet. I kindly request the swift refund of the remaining amount for the unused insurance. Thank you. I made a reservation for a car with Rentalcars.com on November 30th to pick up at Budget Cars Kings Cross at 2 pm. Unfortunately, I was not informed that Budget closes at noon on Saturdays. When I arrived, they were closed, resulting in me having to use a different car rental company and pay again since I had paid Rentalcars in advance. Now, I am seeking a refund from Rentalcars.
