on ******** at the Quality Inn in Obetz Ohio. As I was about to lay down on the bed, I didn't know there was * iron railing, approximately * to* inches long sticking out from the bottom of the bed, the bed sheet was covering, we did not notice It, or we would have moved out of the room. I fell on the in extreme pain and my ankle was bleeding badly. My fianc* grabbed some tissue and napkins and called front deck, spoke with Ava from the front desk, said she couldn't, come up or send anyone to bring gauzes and alcohol. I took the phone, told Ava, I needed some gauzes to stop the blood and someone needs to look at the railing. Ava said, she was unable to come up, or send anyone, I asked Ava, if she would call her manager. I waited awhile and hung up and called back, Ava said she was very busy, but did apologize for what happened. finally, Ava spoke with the manager, that told her she could come to the room, she came with three band-aids, an incident report and took pictures, told us we could switch rooms, but couldn't send anyone to help, we stayed in the rm, I was unable to move my ankle due to swelling, applied bandage and a scraf to keep pressure on and elevated my leg.*. Next morning spoke with manager, she informed me, could have gone clinic, told her will check with my doctor when I get home. There should not have been an object of any kind sticking out of the bed, it should have worse. The manager did take some off the bill. I would appreciate room compensation and please take the railing out of the room, so to not happen again. Our softball team frequent your chain of hotels often.
