I recently completed an online survey and rated everything with 5 stars. I received a code to redeem my free items, which included (2 free pieces of chicken and 1 free biscuit with the purchase of a large drink). When I asked for (2 free breast, 1 free biscuit) and bought a large sweet tea, the cashier insisted on charging extra for the breast pieces. I pointed out that the offer did not mention any additional charges for specific chicken pieces. The cashier argued, claiming it was company policy. I spoke to the manager who could not provide written proof of the policy. Now, I regret giving a high rating. I love Popeyes but will consider dining at other establishments with clearer policies. If charging for specific items is the policy, it should be clearly stated on the receipt, or else customers should receive what is advertised without unnecessary arguments or charges. This should be standard practice across all stores.

Hello Popeyes Team, I am writing to share a recent experience my husband and I had at your Sailormen [redacted] location in Kissimmee, FL. Last Saturday, July 13, [redacted], we visited and encountered a disappointing customer service incident. While placing our order, I noticed a special deal for more chicken which I kindly asked to switch to. The staff rudely responded, causing us to feel disrespected. The cashier's refusal to provide additional sauce also added to our frustration. When requesting to speak with the manager, we were met with a dismissive attitude and unhelpful responses. This entire encounter left us feeling upset and undervalued as customers. We believe in providing feedback constructively and hope this message reaches the appropriate channels for improvement. We will not return to this specific location due to the poor service received. Despite this isolated incident, we still value Popeyes as our go-to chicken restaurant. Last night at 10:40 pm at the Popeyes location in West Valley City, Utah, I experienced a frustrating situation. When I pulled into the drive-thru behind another car, they took the previous order smoothly but struggled with mine. After waiting for 10 minutes, I was informed that they only had bone-in chicken available, and anything else would require a 10-minute wait. Even though I agreed to wait, I was later told by a woman that they couldn't fulfill my order as they were too busy cleaning, which was disappointing. I ended up only being able to order mashed potatoes and rice. What upset me further was watching the car in front of me receive their order without any issues. When I asked to speak to the manager, I was met with resistance. Another supervisor claimed the other car had pre-ordered their food, which turned out not to be true. This, along with a previous issue of being double-charged on my credit card during a past visit to this location, has left me feeling unfairly treated. I had a terrible experience with the chicken from this store. The coating was extremely hard, making it inedible and had to be removed. The chicken itself was so dry that swallowing it was a challenge, suggesting it had been refried and left under heat lamps for a long time. When we tried to address our concerns by calling the store and speaking to the manager, we were placed on hold for an extended period, only to hear employees talking before being disconnected. Subsequent calls were left unanswered as the phone was off the hook. This has been a disappointing waste of money, and we still have the untouched chicken pieces available for further inspection. Last night at Popeye's, there were no outside lights on for the second night in a row. I waited in line the second night amidst many other cars, but no one responded at the speaker. It took 50 minutes to reach the window. The lady at the window was nice, but the tall young lady next to her was not. A verbal altercation ensued between them with heated and inappropriate language. A young man attempted to intervene, and eventually, the manager-like lady came from the front to address the situation. The argument seemed to be about an issue with the soda machine. Despite the chaotic service, my entire order was in the bag, but the chicken was just average. If this kind of service continues, I fear this new store might not succeed. The disorganization resulted in extra expenses of about $25 in gas and time.

I visited Popeyes #[redacted] on Friday, 7/19/19 at 7:43 pm, as stated on my receipt. Despite having been inside the restaurant for about 30 minutes eating my dinner before placing my to-go order, I experienced a frustrating interaction with the older lady, possibly the manager in a blue button-down shirt. I requested a 2-piece mixed meal with a side and biscuit for $3.99 with a coupon. When I asked for one piece to be a breast and the other dark, she insisted on a leg and thigh instead. After clarifying with another worker that a mixed order should include a dark and a white piece, I finally received the correct order. Throughout the ordeal, the manager's attitude was less than friendly, which was disappointing, especially after witnessing her pleasant interactions with other customers.

I recently applied online for a position in the Thibodaux area. However, every time I call to follow up on my application, I receive conflicting information. Initially, I was told they hadn't reviewed any applications yet. One application I submitted is on Acadia Road, and another is on North Blvd. Despite being instructed to contact the manager, I was given excuses like the manager not being available. When I visited the location, it seemed like my application hadn't been reviewed. I requested to speak with the manager, but a staff member mentioned they don't rehire former employees, despite my positive work history at Popeyes two decades ago. I was always reliable and willing to go the extra mile during my previous employment. I now have reliable transportation and a strong desire to return to Popeyes and continue working. I visited my local restaurant on July 21 between 5-5:15pm as the drive-thru service was very slow. I placed two orders, #87 and #88, at the Oklahoma City, NW Expressway location. Unfortunately, the drinks were carbonated, fries were cold, and there was insufficient parmesan cheese on the tenders. When I tried to contact the restaurant, the phone line seemed disconnected. I used to enjoy dining here, but the quality has declined. I prefer this restaurant over KFC, Churches, and Golden Chick due to the better chicken. Please address the issues with my orders and ensure a more reliable staff. I would appreciate having the orders replaced with a little extra for the inconvenience. I visited Popeyes with my grandma on Sunday, July 21, [redacted], at 2:45 pm. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and two pieces of pie. My grandma ordered a two-piece chicken with fries and green beans, but she received cole slaw and mashed potatoes instead. Unfortunately, my chicken sandwich was missing entirely. Despite trying to contact the store multiple times with no answer, I finally spoke to a lady named Fran on the phone today, July 25, [redacted], at around 3:10 pm. When I explained the situation, her response was curt, "there's nothing I can do for you," without any further explanation. It was frustrating that they got our order wrong and then didn't address the issue properly when contacted.

My Popeyes experience was disappointing. The service, cleanliness, and staff attitude were subpar. The advertised five-dollar boxes were not available, and my order was mistaken and overcharged. Upon receiving my order, items were missing, and the server's demeanor was unpleasant. Another customer confirmed experiencing the same poor service. This negative experience has deterred me and others from returning.

I had an unfortunate experience at the East Patchogue store located at [redacted] Main Street, Patchogue, New York, [redacted]. Upon arriving at the window to pay for my meal, the manager, in an arrogant and loud manner, approached me asking for a donation without using the intercom properly. His behavior made me question the legitimacy of the cause he was promoting. When I declined, he made a tasteless joke about Gilgo Beach, referencing a tragic event in the area. This joke was highly inappropriate and made me uncomfortable. I am considering reporting this incident as it was unprofessional and unsettling. I urge others to be cautious and inquire about any additional charges or donations requested at this store.

There is an issue with a manager, Hannah, and her son, Tony, working the same shift at the Popeyes located on [redacted] US 49 in Gulfport, MS. Tony receives special treatment, such as picking his days off and getting free food, which is causing resentment among other team members. To address this problem, they should either be separated onto different shifts or Tony should be let go. It's unfair for a manager to supervise their own family member and show favoritism. The situation is creating a negative work environment and should be resolved promptly.

On 07/25/19 around 4:45 pm, my daughter and I visited store #[redacted], [redacted] Airport Hwy, Birmingham, AL [redacted] for dinner. During the drive-thru experience, the cashier rushed us through the order, resulting in missing items. When we tried to complete the order at the window, we were asked to move to the lobby due to being on a timer to keep the line moving. We had to loop around to restart the timer and redo our order. Eventually, we were told to wait in the car for the food to be brought out. After a mix-up at the counter, we received a cold and disappointing meal. The customer service was rushed and unprofessional. I tried calling the number on the receipt but found it to be incorrect. I will be contacting the corporate office to address my concerns. On July 18th, around 7:30 pm, I went to the drive-thru at the restaurant located at [redacted] East Virginia Beach Boulevard in Virginia Beach, Virginia. I ordered three kids' meals with tenders and iced tea. After the clerk gave me the total, I requested a two-piece fish with mashed potatoes and a Coke. I then asked for another two-piece fish with fries and a diet Coke. When my daughter noticed her drink was incorrect, I tried to explain the mistake to the clerk, but she insisted she had given me what I ordered. Despite my frustration, she eventually corrected the error. The interaction left me feeling upset, and I drove off hastily, which embarrassed me in front of my grandchildren. I believe no one should have to endure rudeness when spending their hard-earned money. I have already contacted the restaurant to express my dissatisfaction, but I have yet to receive a response. I am disappointed by the lack of customer service, and this negative experience has made me reluctant to return to Popeye's or recommend it to others.

Compensation for the uneaten meals would be appreciated instead of just an apology. The dining area was so dirty we didn't feel comfortable eating, so we left the food on the table and left. The restrooms and hallway were not up to standard, so we didn't have an appetite. We hope that this issue is taken seriously and resolved at the [redacted] Hwy 70 East Hickory, North Carolina [redacted] location. I visited your store on Cedar Rapids / Edgewood RD to buy cole slaw, red beans and rice, and chicken strips. I was disappointed by the small portion of cole slaw for $2.15 and the inconsistency of the chicken strips priced at $2.00 each. I ordered 3 chicken strips and 2 sides, but my bill was over $12. I feel your prices are too high compared to places like KFC. The store was empty during lunch, and the service was robotic. The staff member lacked warmth and seemed disengaged when I had questions.

Hello, I'm Jennifer D. I wanted to share my recent experiences at your Popeyes on Broadway in Edmond, OK. During both visits, we encountered issues with the air conditioning, stale food, unhygienic conditions with flies, and unprofessional behavior from the staff, including the use of inappropriate language. Unfortunately, our second visit was even worse, with additional problems like a flooded women's restroom left unattended. We spent about $50 on both visits and are disappointed with the quality of service.

On August 23, [redacted], I visited Popeye's Chicken in Livonia to order the new chicken sandwich, cajun fries, a Sprite, and a cinnamon apple pie. Unfortunately, my order was incorrect. The chicken sandwich I received did not have pickles or lettuce, the wrong fries were included, and I did not receive my apple pie. I want to request a free meal that includes a classic chicken sandwich with all the toppings, cajun fries, a Sprite, and a cinnamon apple pie. On August 26, [redacted], my family and I visited the Popeyes in East Peoria, IL. We arrived at 11:00am, but the store was still closed as they were waiting for a shipment to be unloaded, which included the Chicken sandwich. The employees mentioned that the driver insisted on being paid $[redacted] before unloading the sandwiches, causing a delay.
