Last night at 9:30 PM, I visited Popeyes on Durand Avenue to grab dinner. Unfortunately, the food I received was subpar. The chicken was over-fried and crunchy, the fries were cold and soggy, and the biscuits were dry. Having previously worked at a Popeyes location in Milwaukee, I know the standard of quality. I called the manager to express my disappointment, but was told to speak to the store manager the next day. The overall experience was disappointing, from the poor food quality to the unfriendly customer service. I am hesitant to return to this Popeyes location after this unsatisfactory visit. The uneaten food is still at home, and I am upset by the lack of service provided by the manager. This experience has left me feeling appalled and unsure if I will support this restaurant in the future.

On July 7, [redacted], the Popeyes in Compton, CA [redacted] did not open until 11:05 am instead of the scheduled 10:00 am. I observed the cook arriving at 8:30 am but the store remained closed. My kids and I waited from 9:45 am until 10:00 am when we noticed no one else was there except the cook. The rest of the crew showed up between 10:20 am and 10:45 am, and when I inquired about the delay, I was told they were waiting on the cook, which was not accurate. This is not the first time this has happened, and this consistent tardiness is affecting customer service and profitability. I suggest reinstating the previous crew to ensure the store opens on time and avoids losing business.

Today, I purchased 2 pieces of chicken, coleslaw, and large red beans. Unfortunately, the chicken was undercooked and cold. When I called to complain, the employee made excuses. My husband went to the store and experienced bad service and attitude in Chalmette. I am displeased and want a refund. I will not be returning to Popeye's due to this terrible experience. The staff ignored my concerns and served raw food. The cleanliness of the store was also lacking. I expect a refund and request a call back. My contact number is [redacted]. Thank you.

I visited your store in Richton Park located off of Sauk Trail on July 5, [redacted]. In the past 4 years of being a regular customer, I only had one other issue. During my recent visit, I ordered a 14-piece meal with Mashed Potatoes, Biscuits, and 3 hot peppers. Unfortunately, both my 19-year-old twins and I became very ill from the chicken. When I contacted the store on July 6, the manager offered to replace only the leftover chicken. When I inquired about what would happen if we had consumed the entire box, the manager rudely stated that nothing would be replaced. Despite paying in cash and having a receipt, the manager's attitude was aggressive, and he directed me to call a non-working number for further assistance. Despite requesting the District Manager's contact, named Von, on July 9, I have yet to receive a response. I am disheartened by the lack of support provided when customers fall ill due to the food quality. I hope for a prompt resolution.

Hello, my name is David. I am a truck driver currently stopped at a TA truck stop in Kingman, Arizona. My cab was overheating, so I brought my registered service dog, with his jacket and papers, inside the driver's lounge. Approximately 15 minutes later, Justin, the general manager of Popeyes, asked me to leave. He was rude, crude, mean, and very short. This was clearly an abuse of power. Despite explaining my situation, he treated me as if I was a homeless person with nowhere to go. It was [redacted] degrees outside, and I couldn't leave my dog in the cab. I purchased the family meal at Popeyes which included Chicken Strips, 2 large sides, and 4 extra biscuits for a total of $34. When I got home, the chicken was cold and partially raw, making it inedible. Additionally, the extra biscuits I paid for were missing. When I called the next day to report the issue, I was promised a replacement. However, upon returning to the restaurant, an employee rudely told me I wouldn't receive anything for free since my name wasn't on the list as promised by the manager I had spoken with earlier. The staff's behavior was embarrassing as they made me wait for 30 minutes only to provide no resolution, just disrespect. When I called back, I was hung up on and treated poorly once more. All I am asking for is to receive my order as I paid for it, fully cooked, as I couldn't afford to ignore the mistake and purchase more food.

I went to your Drive-through on June 9, [redacted], at Store #[redacted] in Norfolk, Virginia. I used the five dollar Big Box coupon to order food. The staff member at the drive-through didn't ask me if I preferred my tenders spicy or mild and seemed rushed. When I inquired about my order at the window, I was met with impatience and attitude. After paying and receiving my food, I discovered I had been given chicken wings instead of the tenders I ordered. Despite explaining this to the employee, she insisted it was my order, showing a lack of understanding. Another staff member named Miss Kee intervened and confirmed the mistake. Although I received a corrected order, it was not prepared as requested. I found the experience frustrating and the service lacking, leading me to decide not to return to this store due to the poor service and disrespectful treatment by the young lady at the drive-through.

The Popeye's location in South Jackson, TN needs serious improvement. I've given up going there because no matter when you visit, the service is consistently poor. Our orders are always incorrect, despite us ordering the same plain shrimp po-boy every time. Yesterday, 7-10-19, I went to get some mashed potatoes for my daughter who had her wisdom teeth removed. The drive-thru was busy, so I went inside thinking it would be quicker, but to my surprise, all the doors were locked at 7 pm. I saw employees inside but was motioned to use the drive-thru. I tried, but no one answered after waiting for over 25 minutes. This level of service has become typical at this location, and the employees are not only unresponsive but also rude. I have a video showing the locked doors and the lack of response from the staff. This Popeye's needs a complete makeover, from the physical building to the employees.

I visited the store in Centerpoint, Alabama (Store Number [redacted]) around 10:30 PM. I ordered the bigger box with 2 spicy and 2 mild chicken pieces and mashed potatoes as sides. Despite waiting 25 minutes, they informed me there were no spicy pieces available. When I got home, my order was incorrect. The staff asked me to return the next day. Due to the mistake, I had to throw away the red beans and rice. After showing the receipt and a photo of the order, the manager insisted I return all the food for a replacement. Although I managed to return everything except one biscuit and the red beans and rice (which I disposed of), the manager doubted my claim about the missing items. It was disappointing, and I left without getting the manager's name.

Yesterday, at my local Popeyes, my server was extremely rude. Despite knowing there were no biscuits available, she allowed us to order an extra one. We also didn't receive the fries we ordered, and upon returning, the server initially said they were closed. Later, she gave us the fries in a separate bag after claiming they were in the box with the chicken. The service was unsatisfactory, and I did not receive all the food I paid for. I am upset and would like a refund. I have my receipt as proof.

I am displeased with the work schedule Edith assigned me for Monday. The situation is frustrating as the fryers were left with oil, and the oil was put in the chicken pans, preventing me from preparing any chickens on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I ended up having to handle tasks that were not mine due to the lack of cooperation from the cooks. I have been mistreated by both the cashiers and cooks, leading me to feel unappreciated for all the work I do. I have faced challenges, even when I try to accommodate requests for assistance. The conduct of the employees, including Edith, has been bothersome. I hope for a resolution soon. Dennis

I am dissatisfied with my recent visit to the restaurant in Clermont, Florida Popeye's on Colonial Drive West 50. When I arrived, I had to honk my horn to scare away buzzards from the parking lot and dumpsters. The lack of cleanliness outside made me concerned about the disposal of food and trash inside. Despite mentioning this to the manager, she dismissed my worries about the birds, claiming to be too busy. I work in the restaurant industry and know the importance of proper waste disposal to avoid attracting pests. Seeing buzzards and crows around the restaurant made me uncomfortable and I worry about others eating there. I am sharing my experience as a concerned resident in the hope that improvements are made. I recently visited the Popeyes location on Murfreesboro Rd in Nashville, Tennessee around 8:00 pm. On one occasion, I witnessed three Popeyes workers leaving, and upon reaching the speaker, I was informed that they did not have enough employees available. A week later, when I returned around the same time, a staff member asked us to pull up to the window and then informed us that they only had a limited amount of chicken available. I believe it is essential to have a corporate manager address these issues promptly to prevent the store from facing closure. Thank you, Donna Dickson.

I am dissatisfied with the way I was reprimanded by Edith for not dropping oil on Monday. The situation is frustrating because the fryers were left with oil and chicken pans were also contaminated with oil, preventing me from being able to cook chicken on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday as usual. I only missed dropping the oil due to other staff not fulfilling their duties properly, leaving me to pick up the slack. I feel undervalued by my coworkers and not supported when I ask for help. The treatment I receive at Popeyes Chicken from employees, including the cashier's and cooks, is unacceptable. If I am transferred to Maya, please do not assign me to the truck orders, as it leads to further complications. I visited Popeye's Chicken on McCain Boulevard in Arkansas with a friend on the 15th. When I got home, the order was incorrect, and the food was hard. I contacted the manager, Cedric, who wasn't helpful and made me feel embarrassed in front of others. Despite his assurance, my order was still wrong when I went back on the 16th. The manager's behavior was unprofessional, and I was left feeling upset and disappointed. I won't be returning to this Popeye's while he is in charge. His attitude and treatment of customers and staff were unacceptable. I'll be warning my family and friends to be cautious when dealing with him. Thank you.

I visited Popeyes at [redacted] in Snellville, GA on 7/9/19 and had a negative experience with a rude employee. Upon returning on 7/16/19, I encountered the same unfriendly employee. Despite my efforts to remain calm, the service was poor. The employee was unhelpful and intentionally left my order messy. When I spoke to the manager, they were unapologetic and unhelpful. I was given incorrect information and poor quality food. I am seeking a refund of $22.25, an apology, a replacement meal, and disciplinary action against the employee named Diamond. The manager failed to handle the situation appropriately, and I hope for a resolution to this unpleasant experience.

I would like headquarters to contact me. I was unjustly terminated after reporting issues to corporate about my boss. During my time working from July 6-16, I received positive feedback on my work ethic and productivity. However, when I raised concerns to the district manager about my Boss at the Normandy Blvd store in Jacksonville, FL, I was warned of potential termination. Subsequently, they had me work through lunch before firing me for speaking out. I accept being let go, but I believe it was unfair dismissal. I urgently request a call to address this matter. I am considering involving the local news and consulting a lawyer as I feel strongly that the situation was mishandled. Despite witnessing disrespectful behavior towards me and even the manager, who did not take action against the employee, I was the one dismissed after seeking support.

Today, on July 17th, around noon, I visited the Popeyes in Altoona, IA. My usual experience there is just okay, not particularly great, but today was different. The cashier seemed unhappy and uninterested in taking orders. After repeating my request for a $10 Bigger Box with 6pc Spicy Tenders, Coleslaw, and Fries three times, there was a bit of a wait due to the busy atmosphere. Upon trying the coleslaw, I noticed it was darker yellow than usual and had a sour taste, causing me to spit it out immediately. Unfortunately, the chicken, fries, and one of the pies remained untouched. When my partner tried to return the uneaten food, the manager gave a hard time and only refunded half the amount. We paid $10.70 and received around $5.50 back, which was disappointing. This experience has left us unimpressed and unlikely to return.

After going through the drive-thru, my order was incorrect and I did not receive any dipping sauce as requested. Upon contacting the store, I was told that I would have to return the food in order to be reimbursed. The nearest location is over 30 minutes away, which is inconvenient considering the mistake was not mine. The store informed me that it's corporate policy to require returning the food for reimbursement, which seems unreasonable. This is not the first time my order has been wrong, and I am disappointed with the lack of care from the staff at the Elizabethtown, KY Popeyes location on [redacted] N Dixie Hwy. I am seeking a free meal of equal value in the future and reimbursement for this inconvenience. My ticket number is [redacted] from July 17, [redacted], at 4:56 pm. I am unlikely to return to this location after this experience.
