I signed up with POF, but I am not getting the results I expected. Several girls have been messaging me, claiming they want to meet and then suggesting video chats. This seems suspicious as I did not know POF had video chat features, and these girls are requesting my credit card information. The pictures on the profiles do not match the actual people, and I suspect it's a scam. I had to cancel my card due to unauthorized charges. I feel frustrated as every girl I'm interested in insists on video chatting and soliciting personal information. I urge POF to address this issue promptly. I am concerned about a potential video chat scam involving requests for email and credit card details, leading to unauthorized charges. I had to dispute a $39.99 charge and cancel my card because of this unauthorized subscription. I hope POF can address and rectify this situation to prevent others from falling victim to this scam.

User "mrdavis3037" from Huntsville is a scammer. We chatted online, then exchanged numbers. He called me, falsely claiming his wife passed away and that he received millions as a reward from God. He provided a bogus account number, pretending to pay a bill, but it was a trick. Later, he asked me to send money via Western Union to individuals whose names I still have. He's currently active, using a new name "James" with the same story and photo. Please beware of him, he's scamming people using various aliases and photos, removing his profile once suspicions arise.

My Plenty of Fish account got hacked. I woke up in the middle of the night to a flood of email notifications for my POF profile that has been inactive for years. Despite not having the app on my phone, someone managed to make various changes within 15 minutes, even altering my sexual orientation which is a sensitive matter as a lesbian. The hacker sent explicit messages to men in my city, which caused distress. I hurriedly informed them of the hack and deleted the account, but I haven't received confirmation of the deletion. I need assurances that the account is removed permanently and request vigilance for any fake profiles misusing my photos and details.

I'm BennyBBH. Last week, my login password was changed without my authorization. I have repeatedly clicked on the link and entered my email address, but I have not received any options to reset my email password. I noticed a deduction of $79.92 AUD from my bank account today by Plenty Of Fish . com. The withdrawal description shows as pof.com [redacted] CA. I did not authorize this transaction and was surprised to see it. I have not used my account in months and had no intention to do so. When I checked my account tonight, I found an auto-setting enabled, which I consider deceptive and fraudulent. Please reverse this transaction promptly as I am in a difficult financial situation and needed that money for rent tomorrow. If not resolved within 48 hours, I will seek legal assistance. My account was hacked, and a false [redacted] number was set up under your name. Despite my attempts to contact you, I couldn't reach anyone. I demand a full refund and immediate removal of all my information from the site. This behavior is unacceptable and I will involve legal action if necessary. The hacker pretended to be me and engaged in deceptive activities. It is distressing that such issues are not addressed promptly, causing panic regarding financial security. I believe I may have three to four accounts associated with the email address [redacted] I consistently encounter issues when trying to log in with the correct password, resulting in an error message. Despite confirming that my username and email are correct, the system prompts me to reset the password. Unfortunately, I never receive the email to reset the password, even after checking all folders. Consequently, I create new profiles only to face the same login problems repeatedly. I would appreciate assistance in resolving this issue and merging all my accounts into a single profile.

This morning, when I logged into Plenty of Fish, I sent out a few messages. I received a pop-up message stating that I had gone over 50 contacts, even though I had only sent 12 to 15 messages. I just signed up yesterday and haven't had the chance to fully explore the app. It seems like the count may have included contacts from yesterday. Can you please look into this issue and allow me to continue using the app today? Additionally, I prefer not to share my credit card details online. Is there a way to make a payment over the phone? I am willing to call and pay for membership or any additional services using my phone. Could you provide me with a contact number for this purpose? Thank you.

I am concerned about a user named Greg V. who frequently joins various dating sites using multiple email addresses. Despite not posting photos, he actively engages in conversations, including through chat rooms and video apps. Greg, a 39-year-old with a 16-year-old daughter and 21-year-old son, targets women aged 18-25. He pretends to be someone else, manipulates with false stories, and persuades women into sending pictures. He provides fake contact numbers, disappears after gaining trust, and misuses burner apps. I believe my account was deleted because I reacted strongly to someone who misgendered me. I apologize for swearing, but as a transgender individual, I aim to be honest. I always disclose my gender identity and use genuine photos. However, I face more abuse than those who insult me. Some users ask inappropriate questions or make sexual advances, leading me to block them. I'm hesitant to report them, as past experiences led to my account being deleted on other platforms. It appears to have been taken over by someone named Kerry, who has different profile information and photos. However, my concern now is that my upgraded account under the username SunflowerChickie ([redacted]) is inaccessible due to this account takeover. I need assistance dealing with a troubling situation on POF. There is an individual named Asimmmons, also known as Dre, who has been repeatedly harassing me on the site. Despite blocking him and reporting his behavior multiple times to POF, he continues to reappear on my profile and send me inappropriate images. I feel very unsafe on Plenty of Fish now. I have evidence of his actions and urge for his profile to be permanently removed. Although I am considering deleting my own profile for safety, I would like to see this issue resolved first. I'm having trouble accessing my account. I attempted to use both my email and username along with what I believed was my password, but it keeps stating that the password or username is incorrect. Even though I am certain it is correct. After attempting to reset my password, it indicates that an email has been sent to me, but I have not received any emails to proceed with the reset. I have tried numerous times to resolve this without success. I am keen to regain access to my account. I am unsure why I was logged out in the first place, as I did not receive any communication about being banned or any explanations for the login issues.

I discovered an account under the name "funnlove7" was created using my email. This has caused issues as someone is requesting money on POF, damaging my reputation. When I reached out for assistance, a $[redacted] security deposit for a 2-hour security license was requested, which I can't afford. I will either need both accounts deactivated or I will involve my attorney. I am educated and expect a resolution. Verify my new phone number to confirm this deception - the other party may only have my old number. They are using my email as they are unaware of my new contact information, which is a United States number. It's clear this is a fraudulent situation. Please address this promptly. POF has implemented a new protocol that doesn't seem to be functioning properly. Previously, conversations were halted when a user asked for a photo, which was reasonable and could be provided. However, the current system is confusing. After typing a message, there is a section that leads to an inexplicable prompt indicating that only specific users can contact the recipient. Unfortunately, after composing a lengthy message, the system deletes it without any means of retrieval. It's frustrating that all the effort put into crafting a message is wasted. This lack of professionalism and disorganized communication is unacceptable. We need a prompt resolution to this issue immediately to ensure smooth interactions on the platform.
