I recently had my PlayStation account banned for fraud. This ban has affected me greatly as gaming on PlayStation helps alleviate my anxiety and allows me to connect with friends. I have invested a significant amount of money in games and downloadable content, and losing access to my account has been distressing. I believe there may have been misunderstandings related to game sharing incidents in the past that led to this ban. Additionally, there have been instances where my account was accessed by others without my knowledge, particularly someone from America, which may have contributed to this issue. I helped out my son's neighbor by setting him up with a skin and battle pass on my PlayStation. It seems like he made three purchases on 5/18 that charged my bank account - two for $99.99 each and one for $39.99. I suspect he used the money for V-Bucks in Fortnite. I've checked my account and my son's, and we didn't make any purchases that day; the last one I made was on the 15th for Rocksmith because it was on sale and some songs. I have been out of work for a couple of weeks due to having another baby, and I can't afford this. I hope this can be seen as a case of fraud and the money will be refunded. I've been a member for years, along with my oldest son, and plan to stay a member for life along with my four other sons. Hoping for a prompt response, thank you.

I recently sent my PlayStation in for repair with the game "Far Cry 5" stuck inside. Despite informing PlayStation about the situation and filling out the necessary paperwork, the game was not returned with my repaired console. PlayStation claimed to have sent the game back via FedEx on May 18 at 3:28 pm to my previous address, even though I updated my address with them. While my PlayStation was correctly delivered to my current address, the game was mistakenly sent to my old address, which FedEx confirmed was due to an incorrect shipping label. Despite contacting PlayStation and FedEx multiple times, they have been unable to resolve the issue and recover the missing game. I am disappointed by the situation as I paid $[redacted].00 for the repair service and expected my son's game to be returned safely with the console.

Originally, when I first acquired my PS4, I set up my very first PlayStation account with the User ID MLGharvey. Subsequently, as I ventured into YouTube with my channel Garet_PlayZ, I switched my User ID from MLGharvey to Garet_PlayZ. Unfortunately, a distressing situation unfolded. This is disheartening as my former account, MLGharvey or Garet_PlayZ, contains numerous crucial saved games, progress, and data that I dedicated considerable effort to accumulate. Moreover, I had accumulated over [redacted] friends on that account. Regrettably, due to an issue, I am unable to access my old PlayStation account. My request is to address this issue by accessing my previous account, Garet_PlayZ, and updating the phone number used for 2-Step verification from [redacted] to [redacted]. I kindly seek assistance in removing the former number and disabling 2-Step verification to facilitate the restoration of my old PlayStation account.

I received an account from an Iranian individual who claimed to have bought it because games are expensive there. The account included a 3-month PS Plus subscription and several games. Being a minor, I was unaware that sharing accounts was illegal. I later discovered that games could be purchased there using PayPal. I mistakenly assumed the account was preloaded with funds and began buying games without realizing it was someone else's money. I only realized the severity of my actions when my PS4 was banned.

While playing on PlayStation 4 recently, I encountered an issue during a team game where three players were teaming up, leaving me out of the coordinated play. Feeling frustrated, I messaged two players about the importance of teamwork in the game. Despite feeling that my messages were justified, I was suspended following this incident. This suspension came as a surprise, especially since I had recently reported a racist remark directed at me that did not result in the other player being suspended. I reached out to address this discrepancy and request a review of my suspension. I value fair and consistent moderation in the gaming community and hope for a resolution regarding my suspension. Hello, my name is Gaurav Negi, and I am from India. My father's name is D.S. Negi. My PS4 console has been banned for almost a year now. When I was a minor, I unknowingly violated the rules by sharing accounts. I befriended someone from Iran who provided me with an account, claiming he had purchased it. He mentioned that buying games in Iran was expensive, so they purchased accounts directly. The account came with a three-month PS Plus subscription. Naively, I believed it to be legitimate and used it on my PS4. Later, I discovered I could buy games using that account and assumed it had funds via PayPal. Unaware that it was a hacked account from someone in the USA, I made numerous purchases. Only after my PS4 got banned did I realize the gravity of my actions. I've reached out to PlayStation India but was advised to contact the USA branch as the account was from there. I deeply regret my mistake and promise not to repeat it. Hello, I am having trouble activating my PS4 account, which I have had for many years. I recently discovered that my PSN account is not active on my PS4. When I try to activate it, I receive an error message stating that I cannot activate this system as my primary PS4 because my account is already linked to another primary PS4. I have contacted anyone who might have my account on their PS4, but it is not activated on theirs. I have also tried managing my account online but it says I have recently deactivated all peripheral devices and my PlayStation system is ready to be activated. I need assistance to recover my PlayStation Network Account. I recently changed my email address and have been slowly relinking all my accounts but currently, I am unable to access my PS4 account. I need to update my phone number, sign-in ID/email, and other account information. I have paid for a yearly subscription until December and still have 6 months remaining. However, I cannot log in or reset my password as the reset link is not being sent to my new email. My registered email is "[redacted]" and I need to update it to my new email. I have tried various methods to recover my account with no success and now require assistance from PSN customer support to unlock and access my subscription. I am experiencing unauthorized activity on my PayPal debit card linked to the PlayStation Network and Sony Entertainment. Between May 24th and May 26th, several unauthorized transactions have occurred. I have temporarily disabled my PayPal debit card until this issue is resolved. I request a refund for all transactions made on my PayPal debit card by PlayStation Network. This is not the first time I have faced this issue, and I urge you to address it promptly. A previous incident resulted in unauthorized charges and the closure of my son's PlayStation account by Sony Entertainment. Despite proving our innocence, we lost access to the associated email account and purchases. I kindly ask for the reimbursement to be credited back to my PayPal card. My son's PlayStation Network account got a ban placed on it. He had signed up for a 14-day free trial for a game. I received an email from PlayStation instructing me to stop the renewal by going to account management in settings. However, there was no option visible to stop the renewal. I emailed PlayStation multiple times seeking guidance with no response. Despite not authorizing it, PlayStation charged a subscription fee via my PayPal account, prompting me to contact PayPal for a refund due to unauthorized access. I stopped any future payments through PayPal. Surprisingly, the account was banned even though I technically paid until early June with the refund. I left to go downstairs, and my friend, who tends to go against the rules, went onto the PlayStation Store and purchased Uno. He played for a while and stopped when I returned after being downstairs for quite some time. I only realized this about half an hour ago but was unsure what steps to take. The game costs 8 pounds, and my PSN username is yaboicheetossXD. I would like to request a refund, please. I managed to address the issue by recalling that I could seek assistance from you to resolve this matter.

In January, my little cousin visited for vacation, and unfortunately, he used my card without my consent. Upon discovering this, I contacted my bank, and they issued a refund. However, now when I try to access my account, I am locked out due to a chargeback ban. I am a loyal PlayStation member and have never faced such an issue before. I reached out to PlayStation for assistance, and while they were in the process of resolving it as a goodwill gesture, the chat unexpectedly ended. I was in a live chat receiving assistance, but I lost connection and now I'm unable to start another chat session. During the conversation, I mentioned to the agent that my PS3 was stolen a few years ago, and now that I have a PS4, I'm trying to log into my account. However, when I try to reset my password and provide my date of birth, it times out. The agent suggested I resend my email for verification, which I did along with my PSN ID. Unfortunately, he mentioned that the information didn't match. I mentioned that I double-checked an old email containing my online ID before contacting support. The agent requested to see the email, but I got disconnected while searching. I now have the email as proof.

I manage an Instagram page for Fortnite players to share strategies. Recently, someone who is also my friend on Fortnite gained access to my email address through Instagram and then hacked into my Fortnite PlayStation account. They extorted $20 in PSN cards from me and took control of two of my Fortnite accounts. I have pleaded and even cried for my accounts back. I am just 14 years old, and all I want is to play my game. I encountered an issue with my PS4 after updating it two nights ago. Upon downloading the update, an error message appeared, freezing the screen. Despite attempting to turn it off using the controller, the error prevented any action. After unplugging it for 30 seconds and restarting, it only displayed the error screen. Leaving it unplugged overnight did not resolve the problem. Reconnecting everything the next day resulted in the same error screen. Looking for urgent assistance on how to address this matter.

About a year ago, my brother borrowed my PS4, living around 30 km away. He accidentally logged out of my account and tried to log back in three times, resulting in my account being locked. Now that I have my PS4 back, I can't access my account and need my saved data back. I am experiencing frequent game crashes, every 5 minutes, all resulting in the same error code that prevents me from playing. Despite attempting solutions found on YouTube, such as restarting the PS4, rebuilding the database, and updating the system software, the issue persists. The last crash-free gaming session was about a month ago. I am reluctant to purchase a new PS4 or initialize the current one. I am reaching out to Sony for assistance in resolving the error code problem, as I am not alone in facing this issue. It is essential for me to be able to enjoy playing games on my PlayStation without interruptions. I hope Sony can address and solve this issue promptly.
