USA, departure date Aug. ** - Return on Sep. **, Itinerary *: *************, Ticket *: *************, Confirmation: MTAJ*D (KLM) HTWV*H (Delta.*On Aug. ** as per Orbitz instructions I contacted the airline to make seat reservations for my flights. From KLM*Delta airline I received the ticket number and seat confirmation for all flights to USA and back to Poland.*On Sep.** I arrived to the Richmond airport * hours before the flight departure to check in. The Delta airline check in agent informed me that my flight ticket is not in the airline computer and it was never issued. He was not much interested in the KLM (Delta) ticket and confirmation printout I showed him with the ticket number and seat reservations. He called Delta?? office to inform them on the situation. After long discussion (@**-** minutes) with ?? he told me that I will have to buy new new return ticket for additional $*,***.** if I want to get on the planes to Krakow. That was the only option I was given. So I authorized the additional payment to Delta. The result was that I paid twice for the return flight to Krakow.**Interesting fact is that the assigned seats on the issued boarding passes I received in Richmond from Richmond to Detroit and from Detroit to Amsterdam where the same as on seat reservations*confirmation I made on Aug. **.
GetHuman-pekarn did not yet indicate what Orbitz should do to make this right.
