Hello, my name is Victor. I ordered an iPhone XR from a seller named Sandra and paid her using the Cash App. However, I never received the phone, and she is unresponsive. I have attempted to contact her multiple times without success. I am frustrated about losing $[redacted] in this transaction. I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you.

I have made several offers, but after a week to 12 days, I receive no responses. When I ask a question, I don't get any replies either. One person to whom I sent an offer couldn't see or find it even after I messaged them. Another person I offered to pay through Venmo turned out to be a fraud as they disappeared right after the purchase. It seems like this has been a recurring issue on the forum dating back to [redacted]. What can be done to resolve this ongoing problem?

I recently purchased a purse from an individual who claimed it was genuine leather and a Michael Kors product. Upon inspection, I discovered it was neither authentic leather nor a legitimate Michael Kors item. The tell-tale sign was the absence of the letter "I" in the name "Michael" on the label. Furthermore, there were defects inside the purse. I requested a refund and the seller agreed to provide one. I have already returned the item to them, but I am now left with nothing. I am in a difficult situation and seek your assistance. I tried to submit a form for help, but I received a message stating that there is already a pending request.

I recently purchased a Michael Kors purse online. The seller claimed it was brand new, made of leather, and had only been removed from the box. However, upon inspection, I discovered that it is actually made of nylon, has holes with stuffing coming out of the seams, and is missing the Michael Kors label inside. It is clear that this is a fraudulent item. I have tried contacting your customer service multiple times by submitting forms and providing pictures, but have not received any assistance. I am reaching out for help as I am unsure of what to do next. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello, I recently logged in using Facebook to access my OfferUp account but now I am unable to log in via Facebook. I had pending offers with other users and really need to regain access to my account. I am unsure why I can no longer log in this way and unfortunately, I cannot reset the password as the email associated with the account is old and inaccessible. It's crucial that I retrieve access to my account to follow up on my pending offers. Thank you.

I'm having trouble reaching the seller as I keep encountering a fatal error. I need to return the handbag I bought because the edges are not as bright red as shown in the photo. Despite my attempts, I haven't been able to contact the seller. The support number for OfferUp is [redacted]6. I know I should contact the seller first, but I'm unable to do so. I hope we can resolve this issue. It would be helpful to have more customer support options than just email. Thank you.

I have noticed five individuals engaging in car scams on your platform. The first is Alexis Rattomore selling a [redacted] Nissan, the second is Ariana with a [redacted] Acura, and then there's Ariel selling a [redacted] Silverado. The fourth you have removed. They all claim to be listing for others such as their mom, sister, or aunt. Their cars are all low mileage, low priced, and claimed to be in good condition. They insist on using nonexistent eBay for shipping and fabricate stories of losing a family member tragically. I believe you are well aware of this situation and urge you to address it promptly to cease the facilitation of multiple felonies. The public is growing increasingly frustrated with these deceptive practices.

I am having trouble accessing my OfferUp account on a new iPad as my phone is broken, and I can't receive the verification code for the two-step authentication. I plan to get a new phone with the same number, but for now, is there an alternative way to complete the login process without the code? I need to use OfferUp to sell some items and search for a new phone.

I used the in-app payment service to sell an item and received a receipt confirming the transaction. The receipt mentioned that a shipping label would be sent to my correct email address. I have successfully received shipping labels in the past using the same email. I haven't received the shipping label for this specific transaction yet, and it's crucial to ship within three days to receive payment. Additionally, I received an email acknowledging the transaction but stating a potential delay of up to 32 hours for the payment team to review it. Unfortunately, there's no contact information provided to address these issues.

I am paying $50 monthly for promoted listings on OfferUp. After reporting a buyer for threatening me through the platform, my account was deleted. I can no longer see my listings, and all my pending transactions are gone, including over $[redacted] waiting to be transferred. Despite my account being deactivated without warning, OfferUp is still charging me $49.99 for promoted listings. I woke up to find my money, banking info, and transaction history missing. I'm concerned about my personal information being compromised since I received no explanation for the sudden account closure on Feb. 14th. I was trying to retrieve an item from the threatening buyer, and now I am unable to do so. Case number: [redacted]9.

Hello, I have some inquiries and would appreciate your assistance. I am confused as to why I am considered a risk for your app. I have not engaged in any wrongful activities or sold any counterfeit items. All the items I listed on OfferUp are accompanied by proof of purchase. I am puzzled as to why I am being labeled as harmful to your app and its users. I recall posting two bags that OfferUp flagged as replicas, but I was unaware they were not authentic. One belonged to my sister, and the other was purchased from a second-hand market. I won't repost them. I have noticed other users on OfferUp selling replica bags without consequences. I always furnish my customers with proof of purchase for items I sell. I value buying second-hand items as a cost-effective way to acquire genuine goods, and I trust OfferUp since it allows for in-person issue resolution. Though I believed OfferUp was a suitable platform for selling personal items, I do not comprehend how I have violated your policies. Thank you for taking the time to review this. I eagerly await your response. Sincerely, Rainie

I found a sectional on OfferUp that I wanted and agreed on a $[redacted] price with the seller, @cicivo. On November 2nd, I sent $[redacted] via Venmo for the sofa and planned to pay the remaining $[redacted] when viewing it the next day. Unfortunately, the seller cancelled our meeting, didn't allow me to see the sectional, and refused to refund the $[redacted]. Despite being blocked by the seller, I have screenshots of our conversation before that. I'm considering legal action. Can OfferUp assist by providing message transcripts and take action against the seller if needed? Thank you.

My son's name was used by someone who met a lady selling a cell phone at 7-Eleven near our neighborhood. The person made an account with my son's name and used their own pictures that resemble my son, leading to my son, Devin, being arrested on October 28. We are heading to trial, and I desperately need to verify the phone number or the type of phone to prove Devin's innocence. Please contact me at [redacted] to assist me in this urgent matter. Devin has his own account but someone opened a second one in his name and used counterfeit money. Our lawyer is unsure how to obtain this crucial information, and I am reaching out for help to keep my son out of jail. Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Lisa McFarland.

I used a postage label from OfferUp to ship an item, but it turns out the label was voided by OfferUp. I cannot access the tracking number on my computer because the original label was cancelled. Although I didn't use the second label OfferUp provided me with on 02/06/[redacted], I did print it and it's still valid. I believe OfferUp should have the tracking number for the label I shipped with, which I am unable to access. I kindly request OfferUp to provide me with the tracking number. Thank you.

I agreed to a deal with Kyle on my page and printed shipping labels for two orders. Even though I missed the initial deadline, I sent both orders using the first set of labels. Kyle reordered, and new labels were generated, but the items were already shipped with the original labels. I haven't received any updates, and it seems like you are not aware that the items have been shipped. I hope you can track the delivery status using the original labels so that I can receive payment for these items promptly. It's essential to clarify this situation to ensure my account is credited correctly. Thank you.

Dear members of the forum, I encountered an issue with OfferUp where I was initially banned due to a customer complaint. However, after promptly addressing the matter with the customer and having them retract their complaint to OfferUp, the platform assured us that my account would be reactivated. Unfortunately, a phone reset caused me to forget my password and I have not been able to regain access to my account to follow up as requested by OfferUp. I have only been able to communicate through this email address [redacted]. My name is Juan from Moreno Valley, and the customer involved was Stephanie, pertaining to a GE dryer sale. Your assistance in helping me resolve this matter and reactivate my account would be greatly appreciated as I had a stellar track record on the platform. Thank you for your attention. Sincerely, Juan

Hello, I recently purchased a laptop on OfferUp. Upon receiving it, I noticed it was in good condition and advertised as new. However, upon turning it on, a message indicated it was still under lease and needed payment. I reached out to the seller, but have not received a response. The original post did not mention the unpaid lease. Now the laptop is locked, and I can't use it as the lease payments are not being made. I've messaged the seller with no reply. I have screenshots of the original post. Please advise on next steps. Thank you.

I purchased a pair of Balenciaga shoes for my son, ensuring their authenticity, receipt, and new condition. However, instead of receiving the shoes, I got an envelope with a printed letter from "Mycha" at OfferUp about the item arriving on the 22nd for customer safety. The app doesn't allow me to contact the seller and I received a fraudulent letter instead of the shoes I paid for. I need a refund for this $[redacted] purchase mix-up. Thanks, B. Griswold

I am experiencing a recurring issue with purchasing items on OfferUp using my new credit card. Despite having sufficient funds, each transaction gets canceled by the seller. This problem has occurred more than six times in the past week. I am frustrated, and so is the seller. I have recently tried to buy two decorative masks and a lighted sign from Ontario, but if this is due to an OfferUp error, I will be extremely upset. I am desperate to resolve this promptly. Kindly address and fix this issue so I can move forward with my purchases without further delay.

I recently bought a laptop on OfferUp titled "Fast running HP laptop" for $80. The seller promised a year of Norton Internet Security. We agreed on $60 and set up a meeting. After waiting, the laptop was slow, not as described. Norton was only a week, not a year. The seller did not respond to my complaint. I want a $60 refund and will return the laptop to OfferUp. Local meetups need buyer protection. I believe this is fraud. OfferUp needs to address these issues to protect buyers. I hope to get a refund soon.
