I am a member of the NYSC In Croton on Hudson, New York, and we have been having serious issues with the heating in that gym for several months. It is beyond me why this cannot get repaired. It is been so cold that they have been closing the childcare room with no advance notice, which has meant that at least three times (including yesterday), I have packed up my young twins and driven to the gym only to be told that there was no childcare and I had to turn around and go back home. The class room has also been so cold that they have not been able to hold classes there. I actually paid for a sitter this morning so I could go to yoga class, only to show up and find out they were holding the yoga class in the HALLWAY due to the temperature in the room. As I said, this has been going on for * months now. I am beyond frustrated, as yoga and childcare are the reasons I joined this gym and I have been laying for them without being to use them!!!! This gym is also apparently “between managers” as I have been unable to speak with or locate the manager there this week. I left my number for him to call me yesterday (after finding the childcare closed, AGAIN), and never received a call back. Then I tried to call the corporate number and just got a message saying you could not take my call now. Do you understand how this is enough to make me want to leave, and find a new gym?!
