I signed up for a membership at NYSC in Hoboken. Unfortunately I had been in a car accident and was unable to use my membership. I spoke to the customer service manager, Ala, about freezing the account and she told me all I would have to pay was the freeze fee. As I continued to be charged and wrote about the issue she told me she would refund my annual fee of $**. When I went to the gym to speak to her in person she told me that she had never said that and refused to do anything about it. I am now very upset about being lied to and want to leave the gym. The only reason I am sticking around now is to finish off my personal training. Once that is over I want to begin my search for a new gym which is very sad considering that I was injured and all I wanted to do was heal enough to work out and this manager only cared about money and not my health.
