I called last week regarding a concern about my auto debit. When I signed up for auto debit at the beginning of the month, Nelnet informed me that my first payment would be taken out on ********. When this came, the payment said “pending” on my account. The payment of $*** and change was never taken out of my account.. and it is now saying that my next payment of this amount is due on ********, which was my originally due date. I’m incredibly confused, and don’t want to be punished for not paying anything that is supposedly due but is not getting removed.
