Hello, my name is Luis D. I recently visited your new facility in Norwalk, CA, to inquire about prices and services at your fitness club. During my visit, I spoke with Giovanni M. about the pricing. After receiving a 2-week trial pass, Giovanni started leaving unwanted messages on my phone, which escalated to frequent calls. When I asked him to stop calling, Giovanni became rude and argumentative, insisting he only called every other day. Despite my request to stop, he continued to call and leave messages, even disrupting an important meeting with my lawyer. I called him to address the issue, but he was disrespectful and dismissive, claiming his persistence was justified because of the free pass. His behavior has discouraged me from joining your club, and I have found a better deal at 24 Hour Fitness. I intended to bring friends to join as well, but now I will advise them against it due to the harassment I experienced. I hope this matter can be resolved to avoid future issues.

I have been a member of LA Fitness with my husband since [redacted]. Today, when I was doing my usual workout, I found the manager in the spot I usually use. I politely waited for her to finish and then asked why she couldn't wait for me to be done or at least ask how long I needed the spot. I was surprised when she told me I had no right to be there because it's reserved for members who pay extra for training. I have been a loyal client for a long time and had never been told this before. When I mentioned I might cancel my membership because of this, she dismissively said it was fine. I was taken aback by her lack of respect, especially considering she doesn't own the company and doesn't have any personal investment in it.

This morning at 7 AM, while playing racquetball at LA Fitness on [redacted] N. Keystone in Indianapolis, Indiana, we encountered disruptive noise from an individual working out on court #2 by slamming a 10lb medicine ball against the wall. Despite my request for them to stop, the noise continued, leading me to speak with the individual who mentioned being an employee. After involving the front desk staff and being met with only a partial resolution, the disruptive workout persisted, forcing us to end our game. I am uncertain of LA Fitness's policy regarding such activities in racquetball courts, but if this behavior is ongoing, I may consider canceling my membership. Thank you for your attention to this matter. - JH

Subject: Follow-Up on Membership Cancellation Issue Dear Team, I would like to express my gratitude for connecting me with a Manager. However, I was taken aback when I was informed that the delay in resolving the issue was "my fault." As I mentioned in my prior correspondence and reiterated during the call with the representative, I had previously contacted your office twice over a month and a half ago. On both occasions, I was assured by different individuals that the matter would be resolved promptly. I kindly request a reimbursement for my February subscription in addition to the refunds for March and April. It is essential to me that these misunderstandings are acknowledged and addressed appropriately without attributing blame to the customers. Furthermore, I would prefer to communicate via email moving forward. I appreciate your attention to this matter and eagerly await your response. Warm regards, Josselyn A. [Redacted]

Upon signing up for a personal trainer, I was not informed about the length of the training. I discovered later that I was enrolled for a 12-month program instead of the 6-month option I heard about initially. The trainer assured me I could cancel if needed, so I accepted the 12-month commitment. Unfortunately, due to a family emergency and financial constraints, I need to end the training. The trainer mentioned contacting corporate for a buyout option but cautioned against high hopes due to my short time in the program. Despite hoping the trainer could assist in my situation, it seems unlikely now. I kindly request the cancellation of the training. Thank you.

I have been a Premier Chicago Bally Fitness member since September [redacted], paying dues electronically after completing my initial installment contract. Despite not visiting Bally's since the bankruptcy and takeover by LA Fitness, I have continued paying through EBPP without accessing the facilities. I am now looking to end my contract to stop the automatic withdrawals from my account. Although the original contract suggested canceling in writing to Bally's, this is no longer an option. Strangely, there was no EBPP deduction last month, which is uncommon after many years of automated payments. My name is D. Zak, member number: [redacted][redacted]. Please reach out to me at your earliest convenience. I plan to call during business hours tomorrow as well. Thank you.

I recently enrolled in personal training sessions and found them enjoyable, receiving great ongoing support. Sadly, I sustained a serious injury a month after signing up which now hinders me from attending these sessions. Given my circumstances, I'd like to either extend the expiration date of the sessions or cancel my contract without a buyout fee. The local LA Fitness center staff informed me that I would need to pay half of the remaining sessions if I wished to cancel. I understand this policy but hoped for an exception considering my situation. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, V.

I would like to know whom I can speak with regarding my recent interview experience at your company. Despite having an appointment, the interviewer was not present when I arrived. After contacting her, she failed to reschedule as promised. Subsequently, I learned that the position had already been filled without me being interviewed. I find this incredibly disrespectful and thoughtless. Not receiving a call to reschedule before making the trip to the location was highly inconvenient. The lack of communication and follow-up is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the customer service provided by your organization.

Hello, my name is Sigmund Naszke. I recently returned from overseas military duty and visited the gym at [redacted] W Pershing Rd. during my three-day pass. Unfortunately, I left my bag in the parking lot by mistake. Despite efforts by the police and my daughters, who are Chicago cops, the poor camera quality at the gym didn't capture the incident clearly. I contacted customer service, and after a couple of frustrating interactions with a lady named Lisa, I felt dismissed and disrespected. The vague voicemail she left me didn't address the issue satisfactorily, and I'm concerned about the safety implications of the low-quality cameras in the lot. I'm disappointed with the lack of empathy and the overall response. I urge management to take this matter seriously and would appreciate a callback from a higher-up to discuss the situation. Thank you, Sigmund Naszke. [redacted]

I would like to bring attention to an ongoing repair issue at the LA Fitness club in Buffalo, New York, situated at [redacted] Elmwood Avenue. Specifically, the backboard at one end of the gym and one of the windows in the entrance doors require replacement. Despite notifying the club's management, the repairs have been continuously postponed, with excuses ranging from awaiting parts to scheduling repair personnel who do not show up as promised. This lack of action has left the gym inaccessible for weeks, impacting the utilization of the facility by numerous members. It appears that the repair schedule is uncertain and unreliable. I kindly request that someone in a position of authority addresses this matter promptly. Thank you for your attention to this issue. Best regards, J.J. Parker.

Immediate Attention Required I need help with my account billing. When we registered, my husband paid a lump sum of $[redacted]-$[redacted] in cash, thinking it was for the entire year. However, we were surprised to see two additional fees of $98 and $69 charged to our account within two months without any prior notification. This has caused my account to go into a negative balance, incurring extra fees. I am dissatisfied with this unexpected billing practice. Unlike my previous experience with NY Sports Club, I was not informed about these recurring charges. I request a refund of all fees charged, including the $45 insufficient funds fee. If this matter is not resolved satisfactorily, I will have to consider canceling my membership. I have recently relocated to Babylon, where LA Fitness is a reputed gym. I urge you to address this issue promptly and reimburse the amount owed. Sincerely, J. Munoz

At the LA Fitness Ansley location in Atlanta, Georgia, there is a janitor (an African American, heavyset man) who seems to be struggling with mental health issues. He engages in loud conversations with multiple characters, often using profanity, which makes both me and other members uncomfortable. He also uses strong cleaning chemicals while wearing a mask, unlike the customers. This has caused me to feel sick and cough. Despite informing Destiny, the manager, twice in the last two weeks, she has been unhelpful and dismissive. I hold a PhD in Business Administration and find her management lacking. It is concerning that the janitor is using such strong chemicals around customers, and his behavior seems to be worsening. If this matter is not addressed promptly, I may involve other members through social media. The deteriorating situation is disappointing considering the good management it used to have, and I have been a member for over eight years.

The LA Fitness in Bridgeville has serious cleanliness issues like mold in the showers, clogged sinks, and overflowing garbage cans. These problems have persisted for a long time, posing health risks to gym users. Immediate action is needed from management to address these concerns as they are becoming a serious health hazard. It is unacceptable for members to pay for services while being unable to use the facilities due to concerns about their health and safety.

I received an email informing me about the cancellation of a LA Fitness membership for a person named Sonia Romanova. I am not familiar with this membership as I am from Europe and did not sign up for it. The email mentions that charges will continue until June to an undisclosed account. I am unsure of how they obtained my email address or what account they are referring to. Unfortunately, I am unable to reach them through the provided phone number or their non-functional webpage. I do not want any unauthorized charges on my account and I seek clarification on this matter. Thank you.

I recently rejoined LA Fitness, and now I am getting calls from Bally's Total Fitness from [redacted]. They seem to have received my phone number and are attempting to collect a debt. I informed Bally's back in [redacted] after visiting only three times that I was not interested in their services and requested to cancel my account. It's been nearly 30 years since then, and I was only in my 20s at the time; now I am a 53-year-old woman. I do not want to pay for services I did not receive. I want Bally's to stop calling me as they have my information without my consent; I only provided my information to LA Fitness. I would appreciate prompt resolution to this matter. There is a 24 Hour Fitness close by with potentially better prices, so I might consider switching if this issue is not resolved swiftly. The number they used to call me is ‭+1 [redacted]‬.

Today, on April 26, [redacted], I entered the gym and found that my locker, missing its lock, had been emptied of my items. The missing belongings are two pairs of new athletic shorts, a towel, and athletic shoes. Upon reporting the incident to the front desk, I was informed they were not involved in the missing items and that they usually notify customers before removing locks. I am unsure if I was misled or if another gym member tampered with my locker and took my belongings. I am seeking compensation for the lost items and am contemplating discontinuing my membership at LA Fitness as I cannot risk losing my workout attire and replacing it repeatedly. The security breach at this location is worrying. Should I be worried about the safety of my belongings at this gym? I need assistance with this matter and am frustrated as I genuinely enjoy this LA Fitness branch situated at [redacted] W Sam Houston Pkwy N, Houston, TX [redacted].

After relocating for work, I discovered that the only LA Fitness accessible by public transportation is a Signature Club, which I would like to upgrade to. However, the individual assisting me at the Signature gym in Ballard, WA was quite rude and unsympathetic. I currently have a single location membership and find it confusing that relocating to an area with only a Signature Club requires a $[redacted] fee to upgrade. Having been a loyal member for nearly three years, I believe losing a customer over a fee is poor business practice. Additionally, it does not make financial sense for me to pay over $[redacted] in fees when I already pay $5 every time I visit the gym 4-5 times a week.

I faced a medical issue years ago which led to me having 12 unused personal training sessions. I was assured they would be put on hold until I could use them. Now, after many years, I am ready to use them, but I have been struggling to get assistance. I've been given the runaround, spent hours on hold, left messages, and visited gyms in person, all without a resolution. I am a long-time customer, stretching back to before L.A. Fitness took over Bally's. I believe I deserve better service. I kindly request someone from the corporate office to reach out to me about this matter. You can contact me at [redacted] or [redacted] I look forward to a prompt response. Sincerely, Tracy B. Marshall

I recently started working at LA Fitness and was let go after just two days. I left 5 minutes early with permission from two employees, and after I left, something got stuck in the water fountain, causing a flood in the store. I feel unfairly fired because I had nothing to do with the flood, and I just want them to know it wasn't my fault. I took this job to support my child; I already have a full-time position at Panera Bread, and I thought LA Fitness would be a good fit, but apparently not. My name is L. A. Santana, and I worked at the LA Fitness on [redacted] and Blanco at the Vineyard. If you have any questions, please contact me at [redacted]. Thank you.

Hello, I am a member of LA Fitness in Frisco, TX. I have been attending personal fitness classes at this location for the past year. I have informed my trainer multiple times that I do not wish to continue once the contract expires, which happened this month. I recently noticed that a charge of $[redacted] was made for next month's training. Despite expressing my desire to discontinue, the staff at the location refused to refund me. I find this situation unreasonable and believe I am being treated unfairly based on their explanation. I have been a patron of LA Fitness for the past 12 years, intermittently. Such an incident has never occurred before. I respectfully ask for the cancellation of my training sessions and a refund for this month. Details: Name: Madan B.
