Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, ich habe vor kurzem eine Matratze bei Ikea für [redacted],€ erworben. Mir wurde zugesichert, dass ich innerhalb eines Jahres das Rückgaberecht in Anspruch nehmen kann. Nachdem die Matratze 72 Stunden gebraucht hat, um sich zu entfalten, stellten wir fest, dass der Bezug am Reißverschluss beschädigt war. Da die Matratze nicht passte, brachten wir sie zur Filiale Saarlouis zurück und erhielten eine Guthabenkarte in Höhe von [redacted],-€. Da ich keine passende Matratze bei Ikea gefunden habe, möchte ich gerne das Geld zurück, da die Matratze ungenutzt war. Hello, I want to share my recent disappointing experience at the Logan Ikea store. Despite having positive experiences with them in the past, my recent visit to return a $15 kettle that had rusted around the lid after just over a year left me quite upset. The lady at the returns desk was unwelcoming from the start and reacted negatively when I explained the issue with the kettle. Her accusatory tone made me feel like I had done something wrong. After a brief inspection, she refused the return without much explanation, which was disheartening considering our loyalty and past spending at Ikea. As pensioners, every dollar counts, and being treated poorly over a small item was distressing. I believe the staff at the returns desk represent the face of Ikea and should approach customers with friendliness and a willingness to assist. This experience left me feeling undervalued and like a dishonest customer, when all I wanted was a faulty product addressed appropriately.

I discovered a defective part in my Malm 800mm 3-drawer chest. The 78.5 x 39 x 16 mm oak veneer horizontal facia strip between the upper and center drawers is broken at both ends. I experienced this damage while handling it during assembly. Unfortunately, there is no part number for this piece in your assembly guides. I have screenshots of the damaged part, but I am unable to find an email address to contact customer services. This item was part of a large order with number [redacted], purchased in July.

Hello, I am reaching out regarding a recent purchase of a Nymane wall lamp with the reference number: [redacted]2. Unfortunately, I have encountered some missing parts, specifically the wire connector and one of the screws needed to secure the lamp body to the holding bracket. I must express my disappointment in the quality of this product. It does not meet the usual standard I have come to expect from Ikea as a long-standing customer. Not only are there missing parts, but the overall design and assembly process have proven to be quite challenging. A friend who had a similar lamp installed professionally even commented on the difficulty and complexity of the fitting process, mentioning it was nearly impossible for one person to manage alone. While I would normally return the lamp, the distance from Canterbury, Kent, where I reside, to Ikea Greenwich makes it impractical due to the associated costs outweighing the value of the lamp. I kindly request a refund for this product and seek guidance on the return process. I am prepared to provide images of the lamp and proof of purchase upon request. I am requesting the cancellation of my order number [redacted] due to Ikea Osnabrück's employees (customer service and logistics) not following the delivery conditions and displaying disrespectful behavior towards me. I placed the aforementioned order on 25.08.[redacted] and paid for an EXPRESS delivery on the same day. I waited until 9 p.m. on 25.08.[redacted] in vain as the goods were not delivered. The next day at 9 a.m., I called customer service and was informed that nothing could be done as the goods were already on the truck, advised me to wait until 21:00 on 26.08. During the second call to customer service, despite explaining my urgent need to leave Germany on the afternoon of 26.08., I was told to wait until 21:00 on 26.08. and recommended to be friendlier. Until 4 p.m., I had no information on the order status. The online status only showed until 25.08. At 4:30 p.m., I went to Ikea, where customer service staff informed me that the goods were mistakenly still in the warehouse of Ikea Osnabrück and advised me to go back to town as the delivery would be made in 45 minutes. However, this was no longer possible as I needed to go to the airport. They reluctantly accepted the cancellation of the order. When I inquired whether they could keep the goods in the warehouse until my daughter returns to Germany in the second half of September, they said NO. I ask for compensation for the damages caused, as I lost the offer for the bed and could no longer assist my daughter in assembling it (as I will no longer be in Germany). In a future order of a new bed, my daughter will also have to pay for assembly and buy a bed at a different price. The responsibility for the extra cost lies solely with IKEA Osnabrück. Therefore, I request compensation, possibly a price reduction, and free assembly of the future ordered bed. I await your response. Sincerely, Andreia P.

The kitchen was configured exclusively by your staff, ordered by you, and verified by you. The invoice has been fully paid by me. My concerns are as follows: I received notification from you that some items are not available and there will be a reduction in my invoice for these items. I have attached the communication. 1. Since I have already paid the invoice, I am unsure how to proceed with reducing it as requested. 2. I am unable to find alternative replacements for the unavailable items. Given that the kitchen will be fully installed by your team, I am concerned if these items are crucial for the installation process. 3. At the Pittsburgh store in Robinson on Saturday, September 24, around 2-3 pm, I was in the marketplace searching for an item I couldn't find. I noticed a lady in an IKEA vest with her back to me. I approached her and said, "excuse me." When she turned around, I realized she was a taller, older woman with blonde hair and a face mask on. Being from North Carolina, I naturally greeted her with a "hey." She responded by telling me not to approach her like that, insisting I called her "hey." I explained I said "hey" as a general greeting after saying excuse me. Despite the misunderstanding, I left without further conversation. Interestingly, the back of her vest said "Hej," which means "hey" in Swedish. If I did say "hey," it was merely a coincidence as it's on her vest. If she dislikes being called "hey," perhaps working at IKEA with such a greeting on her uniform isn't the best fit. It's a shame I didn't get her name.

I have not received my order yet, which was expected to arrive on the 20th. I have not received any email updates, and when I check the IKEA website, it still shows the 20th as the delivery date. I am trying to track down information on the whereabouts of my order and its new delivery date. I purchased a Stockholm mirror (order [redacted]45) from Ikea, which was delivered cracked. Upon contacting Ikea through online chat and phone, they scheduled a replacement for 1/2/23 (order [redacted]82). However, the mirror delivered on that date was also cracked and carelessly left outside. Despite being informed that a new mirror would be sent, I have not received it, nor have I seen any updates on their website regarding this issue or a refund for the damaged mirror.

My order has been in picking status for a few days now. I'm unsure if there was a payment issue due to not completing the Discover verification. I resubmitted payment via Google Pay and received the order confirmation. Although my delivery was initially scheduled for Sunday, the freight forwarder, RXO, cancelled and has not provided a new schedule. Curiously, my order now shows it was scheduled to be delivered yesterday, yet it remains stuck in picking status since I placed it on Saturday.

Hello! I recently learned about IKEA's plans for expanding their stores in the U.S. I believe Albuquerque, New Mexico, would be a great location for a new store. Personally, I prefer shopping in person rather than online. Currently, the closest IKEA stores are in Denver, CO ([redacted] miles away, about a 6 1/2-hour drive) or Tempe, AZ ([redacted] miles away, about a 6 1/2-hour drive). It just doesn't make sense to me to spend so much time and money driving long distances when I could enjoy shopping in a physical store closer to home. Plus, the gas money spent on such a long journey could be better used to purchase more items from IKEA!

Good day, my name is Amalia Biagi, and I live in the city of Palermo. I purchased a Billy bookcase with doors on June 30, [redacted], with order number [redacted]. I am reaching out because the internal shelves of the bookcase have detached from the sides and fallen. I contacted your customer service number and chatted with your operator Monica. I have also sent photos of the situation via email. Following your operator's suggestion, I inspected the sides of the bookcase and noticed approximately a one-centimeter gap at the top which, in my opinion, justifies why the shelves have detached. I have the Malm 3-drawer dresser but can't find the hardware for the main unit, only for the drawers. Online it seems the replacement hardware is out of stock, possibly because the dresser is discontinued. I hope to get the hardware package as buying individual pieces locally is expensive.
