I am highly disappointed with the service I have received regarding my order for 2 sets of curtains. I was promised delivery within a week, which did not happen, leaving me to cover my windows with sheets on Thanksgiving with family over. Upon contacting customer service, I was informed that my shipment may be lost, without any prior notification. After persistently seeking information, I was told my package was still in transit. Despite requesting to speak with a manager, I faced delays and excuses, ultimately leading to a 30-minute phone call without resolution. The online chat was unhelpful. A subsequent call resulted in being advised that a refund would take 7-14 days, which is not acceptable as I simply want the curtains I paid for, not a refund. During our home renovation in Florida, we acquired an Ikea Essentiell dishwasher from the Tampa store, delivered in December [redacted]. Upon our arrival in March [redacted], we found the handle was not attached due to a stripped set screw embedded in the handle. Despite attempts by our contractor and Ikea's approved service provider, the handle could not be fixed. Despite multiple calls to Ikea, we were informed that the warranty did not cover the faulty handle. Despite our efforts and frustration with the lack of assistance, we remain hopeful that Ikea will provide us with a replacement handle as per the warranty.

I filed a complaint regarding a malfunctioning refrigerator in late October, with the IKEA operation number [redacted]6. Customer service acknowledged the issue and assured me of a replacement. The initial promised date for replacement was 11/22/[redacted], but only the new refrigerator was delivered. I am still waiting for a scheduled appointment for installation/removal. Despite two follow-up complaints, more than seven weeks have passed, and the exchange has not been completed. The level of customer service I have experienced so far has been disappointing.

I purchased an IKEA wardrobe and relocated. Task Rabbit assembled the furniture and discovered it was faulty. Task Rabbit charged me more than the cost of the wardrobe, which is frustrating. This is the second time I've encountered this issue with IKEA. After Task Rabbit inspected, it was revealed that the furniture's wood had broken. I am fed up with IKEA's service. I only have one more wardrobe to exchange before I stop shopping with them. The experience has been disappointing, and the additional charges from Task Rabbit are unacceptable. I've tried to update my address with IKEA, but the lines are busy. I believe IKEA should provide free assembly to resolve the inconvenience caused by the faulty products and excessive charges from Task Rabbit.

Some time ago, I purchased a kitchen chair: Ekedalen in oak/light grey color with code: [redacted] [redacted] 21 for €50. Now I need three more, but they seem to be unavailable in the same color. I am a loyal customer of IKEA but lately, I have noticed a trend where many items are consistently out of stock when I try to purchase them online. It is frustrating that some items are only available in specific provinces across Canada. For over a year, I have been eagerly waiting to purchase a sectional sofa from IKEA, but it never seems to come back in stock. While I understand the challenges posed by shipping delays due to COVID-19, I have observed that other businesses are improving their stock availability. Most stores offer a wide variety of products, but IKEA appears to be lagging behind. As someone who has furnished my entire home with IKEA furniture, I am beginning to consider exploring other stores as this ongoing issue with stock availability may lead to a loss of customer loyalty.

Last year, I bought a significant amount of furniture from IKEA in St. Louis, including a dresser, a desk, and two filing cabinets. Recently, I noticed what seems to be mold on the side of one of the drawers, specifically on a certain type of wood in each piece. Despite trying to remove it, the issue persists across all the furniture I bought. This occurrence doesn't affect a dresser bought from someone else. I'm worried about the mold potentially touching my clothes and stored items. I've taken pictures of the affected furniture for reference. I hope to resolve this matter soon and would appreciate a return or exchange. I believe we can find a satisfactory solution. I wanted to share my recent experience at your foodhall in Wembley. While shopping at your store for my new flat, being 8 months pregnant, I visited the foodhall and was quite disappointed with the service at the food counter. I requested the Salmon to be cooked slightly more due to my caution with seafood during pregnancy. However, Govind, the staff member attending to customers, displayed a cold and unhelpful attitude, refusing my simple request. I was surprised by his behavior and it left me feeling disheartened. Despite understanding there are rules in place, the lack of empathy and dismissive attitude was unexpected and made me reconsider returning to the store in the future.

I recently purchased a SJalland table with an aluminum top. The screws provided were for a wooden top, not suitable for securing the aluminum top to the frame. Typically, I would email customer services, but that option is not available. I'm unsure whether to contact the CEO, Peter Jelkeby, or pursue a simpler alternative. This issue was previously reported in [redacted] on IKEA's review page. Another customer, Jan Patience, faced a similar problem. IKEA initially offered to send new screws, but they were identical to the ones causing the issue. Jan ended up seeking compatible screws at a local hardware shop. It seems this is a recurring problem with this product that IKEA is aware of since they mentioned passing on feedback to their product quality team.

Dear Sir/Madam, I recently filed a complaint regarding order number [redacted]4. My wife and I had to carry over [redacted] kg from the doorstep to our second-floor apartment, despite having already paid a delivery fee of [redacted] euros. Have you ever carried [redacted] kg upstairs to the 2nd floor? I received an email from customer service offering a compensation of 25 euros, which I find completely unacceptable and absurd. My wife, who has had two prior back surgeries due to herniated discs, helped me as it was raining. She is now experiencing lower back pain and has a doctor's appointment scheduled with your physician. I am sending this email one last time in hopes that we can find a resolution. I had to return a bed due to TaskRabbit assembling it incorrectly, causing it to fall apart. We found extra parts unused by the assembler hidden under the bed. Ikea in Portland exchanged the bed without an issue, and a supervisor made a call to get me a credit for the damage. Unfortunately, I have not received the credit yet. The Ikea manager was very helpful in finding the purchase in their system despite it being a cash transaction. The assembly transactions were not showing on my TaskRabbit account. The assembler not only damaged the drawers that go under the bed but also omitted steps in assembling the dresser and nightstand. It was a challenging situation with a full-size white Hemnes bed, 4-drawer storage, nightstand, and 5-drawer dresser.

After moving to Stratford, USA, I had to wait an additional week for delivery, impacting my work and my parents' comfort. As a healthcare worker needing rest for patient care, this delay is causing great distress. I am inquiring about my gift card order that hasn't arrived yet. Despite receiving an email confirming its shipment, the card still hasn't been delivered after 8 days. I have recently had my kitchen installed, but I am facing a delay as the Ikea shelves I need are out of stock for months. This is preventing me from putting my home on the market. This is my 15th attempt to resolve an issue with Ikea in order to receive a refund. I must express my frustration with the customer service experience I have encountered. The staff have been passing the problem back and forth, leading me to visit multiple Ikea stores, make numerous phone calls, and still, there has been no resolution. Despite assurances that they have noted the issue and will contact me, I have not heard from them. The problem at hand is that we have been waiting for a refund for over a month now, and it is not our error. During my last visit to Ikea in Croydon, they claimed they could not locate the day bed on their system, even though it was collected from our flat. This situation is unacceptable, and I feel frustrated with the amount of time I have had to dedicate to resolving this matter. I am unable to make further purchases from Ikea as we are still awaiting our refund. I expect a prompt resolution today, as I cannot afford to take more time off work to address Ikea's mistake. I purchased an Antilop baby high chair at the Columbus, Ohio IKEA store with a scheduled pick up on July 19 or July 20. This morning, July 20, I was notified via text and email that my high chair was already picked up, even though I have not retrieved it myself. To avoid a potentially wasted trip driving 30 minutes each way to IKEA, I am seeking confirmation that the high chair is indeed available at the store before heading there.
