I have made a booking on Home Away for accommodation in Nice from * - * September . Reservation ID HA-WFRPNZ*The amount has been paid in full and to date I have not received the detailed address of the accommodation nor had a response to my email requests for this information to Carmen Jean who is the owner. We are due to arrive in * weeks and I need this information urgently . The only information given when emailing support at HomeAway is the address on the site . There is no apartment name or number so we cannot just walk up and down a street hoping that the owner will find us . I must say that the lack of communication from the owner and assistance from HomeAway is very concerning .* What are my options ? *I cannot arrive after traveling from South Africa to just stand in a road in Nice .*This is so unprofessional - surely HomeAway has the full details of the address and can provide these to me if the owner is not bothering to respond to my emails on the Official Hone away site . Didn’t get any help from HomeAway - I will never use them for bookings again. Happened to get someone in France to contact the owner directly . This should not be my responsibility but HomeAway does not ensure that they have the precise address for accommodation but just gives you a general area even after you have fully paid for accommodation. I should have used Airbnb who have never been so unprofessional
