I recently noticed a charge of $29.97 on my VISA account from House Beautiful. This charge was not authorized, and I am requesting an immediate reversal. It seems like this could be due to an auto-renewal process that I was not aware of or did not opt out of. Unless I explicitly chose to have auto-renewals, this charge is unauthorized. I had intended to renew my subscription, but if I do not receive a refund and prevent any future auto-renewals, I will not consider subscribing to any Hearst publications again. The subscription is under the name Jill McCullough at [redacted] Bigham Ridge Blvd, Westerville, Ohio [redacted]. I only expect an email confirming my refund; please do not add me to any distribution list. If necessary, I will involve the FCC and pursue charges under the CAN-SPAM Act of [redacted].

I recently entered a sweepstakes and agreed to receive marketing emails from various companies, including Hearst Magazines. Lately, I've been receiving numerous offers and sweepstakes invitations, which is fine. However, every time I try to enter a sweepstake, it doesn't work. This morning, I got an email from Bicycling magazine at 8:13 am about a $10,[redacted] Spa Getaway, but when I tried to enter, it said entries were not being accepted. This has been happening repeatedly over many months. The email footer indicates that Bicycling is a publication of Hearst Magazines. I tried reaching out via phone and was given an email address that bounced back as undeliverable. Can someone please assist?

I recently read Women’s Day on my Texture app. About a month ago, I clicked on a link for a sweepstakes offer while reading. I did not consent to a print subscription or authorize any charges during the sweepstakes entry. Upon submitting my details, I immediately received an invoice for a print subscription without my approval. Despite sending multiple emails to cancel, I haven’t received any response. The sender continues to email me weekly about payment overdue, but I lack a subscription account number and have not received any magazines. This situation feels like a scam, and I believe it is unethical. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will contact the Virginia Attorney General's office. I urge the company to cancel this unauthorized subscription and rectify this matter immediately.

For the past couple of months, I have been engaging in email correspondence with Hearst regarding two packages I received with the account numbers [redacted] and [redacted]. These packages include a yoga set and a cookbook. Despite informing Hearst that I do not want these items due to my financial difficulties, they requested me to print return labels. I explained my inability to do so as I lack resources to print and return the packages due to severe financial hardship. I suggested Hearst send me return labels via mail to [redacted] New Salem Road, Randleman, NC [redacted]. I have provided my emails, [redacted] and [redacted], for communication. I am facing stress over this unresolved issue, and hope Hearst can send the return labels promptly to avoid additional fees. I seek resolution and urge Hearst to address this promptly and with consideration to my situation.

I would like to be entered into the washer-dryer contest ending today, March 31st. I tried to submit my entry online, but an error message about xml for y and xml for x being illegal popped up. I attempted several times, but it wouldn't go through. Here is my name and address for submission: Lorraine M. Augustine, 28 Essex St., Manchester, Ct. [redacted]. You can reach me best after 8pm at [redacted] or via email at [redacted] I recently moved and currently don't have a washer or dryer, and my health issues make going to the laundromat very difficult. Winning this would be a tremendous help. Thank you for your assistance. I might contact Steven R. Schwartz tomorrow regarding this computer issue since he is the President. Please confirm via email once my entry has been submitted. Thank you.

I am following up once more regarding another unauthorized charge to my account. I do not subscribe to any magazines, except through Zinio. The latest charge of $28 AUD was made to my account, but I have not lived at the Kent Town SA Australia address for 4 years. To prevent further issues, please reach out to me or my bank will need to get involved. Thank you. H. Corkran

I received your email about the print subscription order placed on January 3, [redacted]. The order includes a 1-year subscription to House Beautiful and ELLE DECOR for $12.00. The delivery address is [redacted] Hallock Rd, Vergennes, VT, 05[redacted], for June Moncrief. Please note that your subscription is part of the Continuous Service Program, which will automatically renew unless you opt out. Allow 4-6 weeks for the first issue to be delivered. If there are any issues with the payment or subscription, kindly contact customer service after one week for the order to be processed. Thank you for your order.

I have been receiving invoices for Pioneer Woman, HGTV, and Country Living magazines even though I have already paid for these subscriptions. I paid for a one-year subscription, and the receipts and checks show that they are valid until June this year. I always get the subscriptions at a discounted price, but then I receive invoices for the full amount that I have already paid. Please resolve this issue as I will not be paying for these subscriptions again due to this recurring problem. I can provide scanned copies of the checks and offers for confirmation if needed. This situation is frustrating as we are diligent in paying our bills on time, and this mix-up keeps happening.

Hello, it appears that there is a discrepancy with an order that was delivered to my address. The order number associated with these fitness products is [redacted]. I want to clarify that I did not place this order and have been attempting to contact customer service for a month through various email addresses. Unfortunately, I did not receive any notification about the shipment of these items, further complicating the situation. Previously, I received another package after the invoice due date, and now I have received a new delivery past the invoice date as well. Given that I did not authorize these purchases and have confirmed with my household members that they did not place the order either, I strongly believe there may have been a security breach in my email account. I have taken measures to secure my email by resetting the password. I will not be paying the new invoice total of $81.17. Could you please provide instructions for returning these unwanted items?

I am contacting you to opt out of the magazine subscription service immediately. I do not want the subscription to be automatically renewed at any point. Please do not charge my credit card or send me any bills. I do not wish to receive any renewal notices; I expect a reminder notice with the current rates 30 days before any charges are made. If needed, I should be able to contact customer service to cancel the subscription and request a refund for any undelivered issues. Due to the lack of email contact options for customer service, I am notifying you in this manner. Please confirm the cancellation of my subscription. Thank you, Jack G. I placed an order for the book "World's Healthiest People" through a Prevention email on June 19, [redacted], at 10:45 a.m. While navigating their ordering system, I inadvertently placed the order twice within a minute, making it seem like I wanted to buy two copies instead of just one. I only intended to order one book, not two. Kindly cancel one of the duplicate orders. Thank you, Melinda V., at [redacted] Main St. Plainfield VT 05[redacted].

I would like to request the cancellation of all my subscriptions and ensure none are renewed. I've encountered issues trying to log in to my account, as it states I don't have one. Attempts to email through the order link have failed to send, and calls redirected me here. If my credit cards are charged without refunds, I will escalate this matter with the BBB. I've made previous attempts to cancel these magazines and am frustrated with this situation. It seems an account exists for me as I receive numerous magazines, around 12 in total. I made purchases through two Groupon deals and believed I would receive renewal emails before any charges. I want confirmation that all subscriptions have been cancelled, with no charges made. Thank you. Kindly send an email confirmation to [redacted] Thank you.

Recently, Veranda, House Beautiful, and Elle Decor have been delivered by Doorfront Direct, and unfortunately, the service has been disappointing. The magazines are consistently left on the ground near the mailbox, exposed to weather and dirt. Despite requesting mailbox delivery, Doorfront Direct continues to neglect proper handling. This falls short of their promise to deliver to the front door. Even if this was upheld, the whole practice seems unnecessary when most mail is in secure mailboxes. Free newsletters being tossed on the ground is one thing, but paid subscriptions should be handled more carefully. It's concerning that this delivery standard doesn't match the advertised service, reflecting poorly on the reputable Hearst publications. Many subscribers likely share these frustrations and expect better from a company representing such esteemed magazines.

I recently got an email saying I owe a payment for July 11th. I didn't sign up for any subscription and don't want one. I previously called to cancel after getting an email, but now I'm being billed $15 for account #[redacted]. This is rude and unnecessary. I do not want to be billed for magazines. Please stop this. Hello, I am Diana C., a professor and historian from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. I am working on a manuscript with the University of Toronto Press regarding U.S. government propaganda spread in the Soviet Union during the early Cold War era. My research focuses on how propaganda utilized gendered images from American women's magazines like Cosmopolitan, Good Housekeeping, House Beautiful, Marie Clarie, Redbook, and Woman's Day to influence Soviet women towards capitalist consumerism. I have been studying Proquest's women's magazine archive, but I am seeking statistics on their readership from [redacted] to [redacted] from Hearst. Any help in this regard would be highly appreciated. Best regards,

Hello, I subscribe to both Country Living and HGTV magazines. Unfortunately, the last two issues of both magazines have not been delivered to me. I reached out to customer support, and they extended my subscription until December. I never had issues with delivery until doorfront direct took over. I would appreciate it if the magazines could be sent through USPS again. If this issue persists, I might need to consider canceling my subscriptions. Thank you for your assistance. Best, Kelly B.

The chief editor of the country magazine feels it is relevant to include an article from [redacted] involving a crewman from the fishing vessel Cornelia Marie. As a reader, I find this content unsettling. I enjoy the magazine but am disappointed by the focus on negative events from the past. Discussing someone's criminal history in a rural living publication seems out of place. The man in question likely has a family and is trying to move forward. In the current state of the country, I believe it's unnecessary to bring up past issues in this context. Using a popular TV show for readership should not compromise the magazine's values. I regret to say I will not be renewing my subscription as this article has dampened my reading experience. I turn to magazines for relaxation, not for negative content. Thank you for considering my feedback.

I have not received any deliveries for my subscriptions to House Beautiful and Elle Decor since April [redacted]. Despite multiple attempts to contact Doorfront Direct, the delivery company responsible for my address at [redacted] Dexter Street, Denver, Colorado, [redacted], I have received no resolution. After contacting Hearst customer service, I was promised the September issues of both magazines and an apology letter on August 30th, but have not received them. Doorfront Direct even sent me a different magazine instead. I am incredibly disappointed and feel that this subscription may be a scam as I have paid for a full year since April [redacted] but only received one issue. I am considering legal action. I ask for a prompt resolution to this matter as Hearst and Doorfront Direct have failed to fulfill their obligations. Regards, ANgélique
