I was informed that my refund would be provided through Interac e-Transfer. However, it seems a DC bank account was opened without my consent. I prefer to receive the refund by mail. Despite being told this isn't an option, I reluctantly accepted the e-Transfer. I received an email mentioning a card which I explicitly said I didn't want. I am disabled and trusted the tax preparer, feeling now like I've been deceived. I seek to close the unauthorized DC bank account and have the refund sent by mail or to my legitimate TD Bank account via e-Transfer. If not, I'll have to consider legal action but hope to avoid court. Thank you for your assistance.

Case ID NO.[redacted] I recently had to reinstall software to calculate my [redacted] taxes post an extension. I faced issues e-filing both federal and state returns. Initially, there were server problems on your end, and later, I encountered conflicting messages about the e-filing status. Despite contacting representatives, checking for errors, and re-uploading the returns, the problem persisted. Consequently, I printed and mailed both returns. During the e-filing attempts, my Discover and Bank Visa cards showed multiple pending charges for the $19.95 state fee. Although the representatives were polite, they could not resolve the issue. Additionally, the virtual phone system was frustrating as it never redirected me to a live person until I found an alternative contact. This experience, after spending approximately 40 hours troubleshooting, has been incredibly frustrating compared to my previously satisfactory experiences with H & R Block.

I purchased the [redacted] Deluxe Tax Software from H&R Block and completed my taxes on my home computer. Following the instructions provided, I mailed my return in February [redacted]. However, I received a letter from the IRS on April 19, [redacted], stating that I had not included schedules 1, 2, and 3 with my return. Despite not being instructed to send these schedules, I had to redo my return and sent it back promptly. By August [redacted], I had not received my refund. After faxing my return to the IRS in August and contacting a tax advocate, I discovered that the IRS had lost my return. My tax advocate is assisting me in resolving this issue by November 15, [redacted]. I believe the software issue caused this delay and request a refund of $40.00 from H&R Block. Thank you, K. Koontz

I'm experiencing an issue with my H&R Block Deluxe software installed on my computer. When attempting to access help, it prompts me to sign in. Although I recall my username, I have forgotten my password. After requesting assistance, I received multiple emails containing a code which I have repeatedly entered, yet it continually indicates that it is incorrect. I am in need of my password to successfully log in. Upon contacting H&R Block, they advised me of a 55-minute wait time. It appears to be a straightforward request, but the importance of having my password for accessing help seems to have been overlooked by support staff.

I purchased the [redacted] Premium HR Block software disc with a code that allowed for 5 free filings before April 15th, [redacted]. Recently, I tried to assist my friend in filing her late tax return for an extension she filed with the IRS. While preparing the return and entering her credit card information to send the return, we encountered a processing error when trying to make the payment for the additional e-file filing option we selected. I have a few questions: 1. Can the software process e-filed tax returns after April 15th, or is printing and mailing the only option available at this point? 2. If we purchase a new disc with a new code for her, will it work after April 15th? It is currently October 3rd, and we are hoping to file electronically before the October 15th deadline when her extension expires. We are eager to hear from you soon. Thank you for your assistance.

I recently received a notification from the California FTB stating that they did not receive my [redacted] state tax return. Being in the military and stationed in Japan throughout [redacted], I filed my [redacted] tax return at H&R Block on base in Yokosuka, Japan. I'm having trouble locating my [redacted] returns, and when I tried to select the security questions on your website, the page kept jumping to the top, resulting in me being locked out of my account. I need to submit my returns by 16 OCT [redacted] to prevent penalties.

I visited your Upland CA office on 07/25/19 to file my [redacted] tax return. Despite expressing concerns about IRS issues due to identity theft, I was assured by your employee that I could file with no problems after paying $[redacted].50. When I returned on 08/01/19 and paid the fee in cash, I was told my refund would arrive in 3 weeks. However, I later found out my return was never submitted to the IRS due to the identity theft issue I had mentioned. I called back in October to follow up, only to discover it was rejected. I am experiencing fraudulent activity on my Emerald Card. My card was used in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, a state I have never visited. I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years. My entire paycheck was taken, leaving me, a single mother of three, in a desperate situation. I requested a provisional credit during the investigation, but I have been continuously given the runaround. I have been unable to reach anyone in the fraud department. This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had with H&R Block. I urgently need this matter to be escalated.

Hello, I am Elizabeth Steffen. In [redacted], I bought the peace of mind guarantee from H&R Block. Recently, I received a notice from Campbell County with questions about Federal tax issues. The notice mentioned column C related to Campbell County Taxes, but I could not locate it in my tax documents. When I tried calling the provided number, I was on hold for a long time without any response. I contacted H&R Block, and despite being scheduled for a call from a tax person, nobody reached out to me on the agreed date. I am frustrated as the guarantee I purchased seems to offer no assistance. I sent copies of my tax paperwork to Campbell County unsure if that was what they needed. I am requesting H&R Block to contact Campbell County for clarification on the issue regarding whether work was done in Campbell County, which should apply to The Woodman business. Unfortunately, I couldn't find column C or any reference to Campbell County in my documents. Your help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I used an online tax professional to hire an agent for my tax filing. Unfortunately, it has been a frustrating experience. I have yet to receive my federal and state refunds. I am disappointed as I paid for the service to avoid having to contact the IRS myself. I feel like I wasted $[redacted] as the agent has not been helpful. Living in Guam, I needed to engage a tax consultant to ensure my tax return was filed accurately. The consultant assigned to me was Katriona Harmon. After providing all necessary documents and signatures, she filed my return in early [redacted]. In August [redacted], a letter from the IRS in Texas arrived, stating they received my return but couldn't process it as it should have been directed to the Guam IRS. Hello, I am Heather. I am married to Jon and handle our tax filings. Since [redacted], I have used H&R Block for our taxes. Despite being the one who set up the account and all communication going through my email, H&R Block addresses me as Jon each year. It seems they assume Jon is in charge of our taxes. I submitted my [redacted] taxes through the free federal version online with H&R Block. Two customer service representatives confirmed this, but directed me to speak with the "digital department." However, the digital department representative informed me the only way to obtain my tax return is through the IRS, which takes 45 days. I have a house closing in 10 days and the IRS tax transcript provided is not being accepted, so obtaining the tax return is crucial. Despite my attempts, no further assistance was offered as I was told no supervisors were available. The bank also rejected the PDF summary I had saved from when I filed my taxes.
