Good afternoon, I am reaching out to inquire about improving customer service. Recently, a military individual visited the GameStop store in Chalmette, Louisiana, during his lunch break and purchased a Nintendo game. Despite being told there were three games left, the employee informed me there were none left when I attempted to buy one. I spoke to the previous customer who confirmed they were told a new shipment would arrive on Tuesday. When I asked about the next shipment, the employee was unable to provide an answer. Feeling discriminated against on the basis of my race and gender, I believe this behavior to be unprofessional. I am concerned that equal rights are not being respected at this store. Hello, I am writing regarding a gift card issue with GameStop in Sweden. Online information indicated that the online store would remain open until the last physical store closure. However, despite two stores still being operational in Täby and Trollhättan, the online store is already closed, preventing customers from placing orders. I have contacted both stores, but they were unable to provide assistance or explain the premature online store closure. Hello, I noticed the Pokémon Shield expansion on your website priced at $4.99. However, when I add it to my cart, the price jumps to $29.99. I have faced multiple issues with your service during the pandemic. Your website displays incorrect prices and availability, and your deals are often for products that are out of stock. I frequently check at midnight to find zero online stock. My overall customer experience has been extremely poor, and I have lost confidence in your company. I have screenshots of the misleading pricing on your site for the Pokémon item. There are many other video game suppliers available, and I am considering switching due to these ongoing issues. I believe reducing the pressure on customers for pre-orders, gift cards, and memberships would improve the store experience. Many others feel the same way, which can be off-putting. Bringing back the 10% discount on used games would also be appreciated. Consolidating stores, like in my town of Anderson, South Carolina, where having three close by is excessive, seems to be a step in the right direction. Being less aggressive with sales tactics upon entry would make shopping more enjoyable. Focusing on retro games and consoles could be a smart move to ensure the company's longevity. It's essential to treat employees well, as they are not to blame for any decline in profits. I hope these suggestions will help GameStop thrive in the future. I recently purchased an Xbox One S along with two games, "Need for Speed Rivals" and "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare." After setting up the Xbox and creating accounts, I encountered issues with both games. "Need for Speed Rivals" only allows me to play the tutorial and then stops installing at 83%, despite trying multiple troubleshooting steps. "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" initially didn't read the disc, but after downloading three out of four packs, the fourth pack stalled at 99.5%. Even after attempting to redownload it, it remains stuck at 98.9%. Additionally, I tried to download another free version of Call of Duty but was unable to connect to Xbox Live. These problems are frustrating considering the investment I made in the console and games. I will soon be heading off to college, which adds to the stress of resolving these issues. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I would like to track the progress of my order made in-store last week for the Nintendo Switch Bundle. I received the game and screen protector, but not the rest of the bundle. I suspect they were shipped separately due to the packing slip. My concern is the lack of email notifications preventing me from tracking my order online. The website requires an email and an order number, which I believe was to be emailed to me. The incorrect last name on part of the delivered package makes me think my email was also entered wrongly during purchase. I possess the purchase receipt and the packing slip with me. I placed an order for a switch bundle at 07:31 a.m. Unfortunately, my credit card flagged it as fraud, so I contacted the credit card company to verify the transaction. After confirming, I tried placing the order again at 07:34 a.m., and the purchase went through with a hold on the card. However, by 08:34 a.m., I noticed that I was charged four times by GameStop for the same amount. On the fourth attempt, I received a text about insufficient credit, and upon checking my account, I saw the multiple charges. The fourth charge was rejected, resulting in the cancellation of my entire order. I reached out to the credit card company to confirm the charges and then contacted GameStop customer service, but I have been on hold for over an hour now.

I attempted to buy a refurbished Switch Lite Yellow for $[redacted].43 after taxes, but encountered a payment processing error. Despite double-checking my card information and attempting to use PayPal, I received the same error message each time. My husband discovered two pending charges of $[redacted].43 on his bank account, while a charge is pending through PayPal. Unfortunately, the order was never completed successfully. We have screenshots of the error messages, but did not receive the Nintendo Switch. It is essential for the unauthorized charges totaling $[redacted].29 to be removed promptly to release the hold on both accounts.

I seem to have been inexplicably blocked from the GameStop website. Earlier today, I was able to browse the site without any issues. However, now when I try to access it, I'm greeted with a message stating I have been blocked. The message goes on to explain that the website is using a security service to prevent online attacks and that my actions triggered the block. I seem to have encountered an issue while trying to access the Game Stop website. I was just checking if the PS5 was available for preorder, but the site has blocked me for unknown reasons. Yesterday around 5:25 PM, I visited the GameStop in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, at Midtown Village to inquire about pre-orders for the PS5. I was informed that the pre-orders would begin the next day and that they had no additional details. However, at 5:58 PM, I started seeing posts about the pre-orders already being available. When I called back to the store, I was told that they had 34 pre-orders but were already sold out. I suspect they may have reserved these for friends and employees. I am disappointed by this experience and may share my dissatisfaction to prevent others from facing similar issues with GameStop.

I contacted GameStop about my purchase of a refurbished Xbox One X. Since the time I got it, it has been malfunctioning. Although I attempted various troubleshooting methods, the console has deteriorated to the point where it won't turn on properly and shuts off after 3 minutes. I am unsure if there is a warranty in place for this item and I am seeking assistance to address this issue. I am reaching out regarding a recent issue with my online order on 10/12. I discovered my Trade Credits of $[redacted] were missing, and I did not receive the purchased product. After contacting customer service, I was informed that my card was used along with 2 others to buy a large item. I was told the matter would be resolved within 7 days, but today marks day 8 with no update. The past 75 minutes of attempting to resolve this over the phone have been frustrating with multiple transfers and disconnections. I am currently on hold waiting to speak with a supervisor for 22 minutes. I hope for a prompt resolution as this level of service is unacceptable. I placed an order and received an emailed receipt for it, but I continue to receive emails saying there are payment issues for the same order. The order was placed on 09/13/[redacted], numbered [redacted]. Even though the GameStop website shows a charge of $80.20, my receipt and monthly bank statement indicate a payment of $[redacted].25. I usually buy my pro membership and had a previous issue during Covid-19 where a manager was supposed to refund a game with disk protection but couldn't access it, so I bought another copy. Unfortunately, the manager doesn't recall the agreement, but I have evidence of payment and request my purchased game. Despite sending two unanswered emails, and providing proof of payment, while attempting to call with no success, my current order for the game shows as cancelled.

I pre-ordered the new Spider-Man game online with the expectation it would arrive on release day, but it only came yesterday. This game was for my 8-year-old autistic grandson, and I had to search local stores to find a copy. I will return the game I ordered from you to a local store. I'm disappointed about the inconvenience caused by your unmet promise. Due to the stress and disappointment the delay caused, especially for my grandson, I believe offering a certificate for a free game would be a fair resolution considering the issues I faced. I made an online purchase for GTA V for PC. I've reached out to GameStop multiple times via phone and email after encountering issues with the game not loading on my computer despite following the provided instructions and researching solutions online. Many others seem to have the same problem with the Rockstar game launcher. It's frustrating that this issue wasn't disclosed beforehand. I believe GameStop should have been proactive about this.
