I booked a hotel in Long Island City through Expedia. When I arrived at the hotel on December **, **** I found the room uninhabitable. The door had a broken lock and could not be shut properly. A simple pull on the handle opened the door. The tub*shower had black mold around it's edges. There was a sticky, yellowish substance leaking threw the ceiling and dripping down the walls. The bed linens were dirty and the mattress showed signs of bedbugs. The hotel refused to give me another room. I left after ** minutes and did not stay at the hotel. The photos of the property online were not even close to an accurate depiction of the actual hotel. The front desk informed me that the going rate for that hotel was $** per night, I paid Expedia $*** for * nights! I would like a refund. ***How do I proceed with this? Ann Field
