Dear Concerned Party, I wish to address an issue with our recent order placed on September 6th, [redacted], at 5:50 pm through DoorDash from Detroit Style Pizza Company. We had ordered a D-Town Deluxe and a Motown Meat Supreme pizza. The order was successfully paid for and acknowledged initially. However, approximately twenty minutes later, we were informed via email that our order had been canceled. Subsequently, when trying to replace the order, we noticed a significant increase in the pricing. The D-Town Deluxe saw a $10 hike, and the Motown Meat Supreme had increased by $20 ($28 over the menu price!). Due to these unexpected changes, we decided not to go ahead with the reorder, leaving us quite disappointed with the overall experience. Best regards, The Burton's

I placed an order for groceries through Walmart on September 8th. The delivery was scheduled between 9-10 am via Doordash. When the driver, Bianca, arrived ([redacted]), she became upset upon realizing she had to bring the groceries upstairs, causing her to drop and break them. Bianca then left without completing the delivery, leaving behind a mess. This was our first experience using Doordash, and we were thoroughly disappointed with the service. As frequent users of delivery services, we hope to never encounter a situation like this again. We request that Bianca be dismissed, and our groceries be replaced. It's crucial for companies to ensure they hire responsible individuals who represent them properly.

Good afternoon, I am reaching out for assistance regarding my granddaughter, K.H., who has been using my bank account without permission to make unauthorized purchases on DoorDash. We have full custody of her and I have changed the debit card multiple times to deter her usage. Unfortunately, she continues to make charges on our account. I am concerned about the amount of money being spent without our knowledge. I am unsure of the minimum age requirement for having an account, but I believe she may have misrepresented her age. I waited for over two hours during a 4.5-hour shift for three Walmart delivery orders yesterday. Today, I received a Walmart delivery request, but upon arrival, the parking lot was full of cars waiting for orders, leaving me with no space to park. I had to decline the delivery. Immediately after declining, I was sent another Walmart delivery request from the same store, which I also had to decline due to the parking situation. I believe DoorDash drivers should not be penalized for declining orders from this Walmart store (Hwy 54, New Port Richey, Florida) due to their inefficient order fulfillment. I suggest hiring customer service representatives locally instead of from the Philippines. 3. Providing drivers with parking funds for downtown deliveries would be beneficial, as parking charges are common in these areas. 4. Hiring drivers who are fluent in English is essential for better communication with customers. 5. Conduct thorough background checks on all drivers for safety. 6. I placed an order for Sunday dinner. The order was completed, but I never received the confirmation email, so the order was not delivered. After contacting the restaurant, I was advised to reorder, but the same issue occurred. It turns out they were trying to text my non-cellphone number instead of emailing me. I usually use email as I don't have a cell phone, so this caused confusion. My concern now is the potential charges on my MasterCard. I have used DoorDash a few times and enjoyed it, but I'm worried about this situation. Please investigate and prevent any double charges. I hope to continue using DoorDash hassle-free in the future. As a manager, today we placed an order for a birthday celebration for 5 people. The order was supposed to be delivered in 30 minutes. Unfortunately, after waiting for over an hour, the driver left because he claimed he couldn't locate our building, although we don't have a suite number and our location is easy to find. We were shocked to hear from customer service that our food was allegedly donated to the homeless. It's frustrating that the driver didn't make any effort to contact us, even though he had the phone number from the order. This is not the first time we've had issues with DoorDash deliveries. We were eventually refunded, but the bigger issue is the lack of communication and accountability in situations like this. I hope DoorDash will improve their delivery processes and address the behavior of drivers like Jose H. in the future.

Regarding Door Dash Incident I reside at [redacted] Hudson Avenue, Apartment 1, Rochester, NY [redacted]. I had a concerning encounter with one of your drivers approximately 30 minutes ago. Despite not having placed an order with Door Dash, I encountered a driver who behaved rudely towards me. As I was parking, the driver nearly collided with my vehicle by driving in the wrong direction in our one-way complex. I attempted to prevent the driver from passing, informing him multiple times that he was driving the wrong way and requesting him to reverse and proceed correctly. Unfortunately, he chose to ignore my requests, responded disrespectfully, and used inappropriate language towards both me and my husband. This behavior is particularly alarming considering the presence of elderly residents who walk their small dogs in the area after dark. I did not receive my order from TacoMac at [redacted] Lake Drive Roswell, GA [redacted] as expected at 7:24pm on Sunday, September 29th. Surprisingly, the order tracker showed that the order was delivered at 7pm. I attempted to seek help through the support page, but encountered some difficulties. I logged into DoorDash using my Facebook account. I kindly request that any charges on my MasterCard ending in [redacted] be removed. Unfortunately, I was unable to receive calls as my iPhone was malfunctioning, and I was not aware of any attempts to contact me. I reside very close to TacoMac, less than 2.5 miles away, so delivery should not have been an issue. Our family is dealing with the loss of our dog, adding to our exhaustion and heartbreak. My 87-year-old mother, who has memory problems, relies on my care. Despite these personal challenges, I believe having an alternate contact number for delivery drivers or receiving emails could have prevented this issue. I acknowledge that my phone problems might have contributed to the confusion, but in times of distress, receiving the delivery was crucial. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Today, I had a disappointing experience with this company. My first order was placed around 10:30 pm, and the delivery took 45 minutes. Unfortunately, the driver went to the wrong location and marked the order as complete, leaving me unable to contact them. After some effort, I was able to reach a representative who replaced my order and provided a $10 credit in compensation, which I appreciated. Despite this, my second order, scheduled for 12:30 am, was later cancelled due to a claimed one-hour line at McDonald's at midnight, which I found hard to believe. Although I will receive a refund for the cancelled order, waiting 3 hours for a meal due to company errors is unacceptable. I hope to see improvements in the future to avoid such frustrating experiences.

Good evening, I reside in Millville, NJ and recently used DoorDash for a food delivery. The delivery process and the food itself were fine. However, the DoorDasher arrived in a large white van with all the windows painted white. The appearance of the van raised concerns for me given the recent incidents of human trafficking and kid luring in the area. I believe there should be rules or guidelines in place to prevent such vehicles from being used for deliveries, as it could be perceived as inappropriate and potentially alarming to customers.

I placed an order directly through Buca Di Peppo on 10-01-19 for a delivery scheduled at 1:14 pm. However, the DoorDash driver delivered a completely different order from Blaze Pizza. The driver had difficulty communicating due to language barriers, making it challenging to resolve the issue. I contacted the restaurant, but they were unable to assist. My order number is [redacted]73, and the total bill was $43.15. I am disappointed by the lack of competence on the part of DoorDash and am requesting a refund to my credit card for this error. This is not the first time I have encountered problems with DoorDash.

Today, I placed an order for one of your specials with free delivery. However, I received a call from customer service stating that the order couldn't be fulfilled and would be refunded with no alternative solutions provided. Consequently, there is now an unauthorized hold on my account for more than the initial amount, the free delivery option is no longer available, and despite multiple attempts to contact customer service for assistance, no resolution was reached. I have spent over three hours on hold without a resolution. I kindly request the free delivery to be reinstated on my account and the excess hold amount to be made available to me promptly.

Hi there, I placed an order for delivery from Chick-fil-A last night. My account is linked to the email [redacted] The delivery was scheduled for 8:17 PM. Despite multiple attempts to open the gate of my apartment complex, my food was not delivered. The gate is broken and always open, making access easy. Even though the delivery tracker showed my order as delivered, I did not receive it. After several gate buzzes from 8:15 to 8:45 PM, and no actual calls, the situation was not resolved. I stayed up until 11 PM, but the food was only found outside my door the next morning. It would be unwise to consume food left outside all night. Therefore, I am requesting a refund for the undelivered order. Thank you, Kendall p.s. This bizarre experience would be amusing if hunger hadn't been an issue. It definitely ranks as one of my oddest food delivery encounters. lol

I have ordered from DoorDash numerous times, but my recent experiences have been disappointing. The first time, I ordered a calzone but received a sub instead. I reported the issue through the app and received a credit. The second time, I ordered a smoothie which was missing from my delivery. Again, I contacted customer service through the app and got a credit. However, last night's order was the worst yet. I ordered stuffed shells but received chicken, broccoli, and ziti. This mix-up was entirely different from what I requested. I attempted to file a complaint through the app, but it didn't allow me to do so. I am extremely dissatisfied with the recent service quality. Although I've had positive experiences in the past, the last few weeks have been a disaster. It's frustrating when orders are consistently incorrect.

I had a disappointing experience with my Doordash delivery today. The driver left my food with the security staff on the first floor, who were unaware of which floor I reside on. I tried to contact the driver without success, and when she did respond, she was rude and stated I should learn some respect. This behavior is unacceptable. I have never encountered this issue before as I order frequently. With 5 floors in my building, it's crucial for drivers to deliver to the correct recipient. When I expressed my concerns, the driver was dismissive, insisting I should be familiar with the delivery process. This situation has consumed over half an hour of my time and left me feeling frustrated.

I am reaching out to address my concern regarding the price discrepancies on your platform. My complaint does not involve delivery or service fees but pertains to the actual prices being inflated compared to the restaurant's menu. For instance, Taco Bell offers a variety pack priced at $13.99, yet on Doordash, it is listed at $20.99. This discrepancy is not isolated to just one restaurant and needs to be rectified. It is imperative to address this issue as it is misleading to customers and undermines trust in the service provided.

I would like to deactivate my account as I intend to register as a driver instead of simply receiving deliveries. I want to delete my old account, which was previously accessed on an Android device, but I now have an iPhone with the same phone number. Unfortunately, when I try to log in on my iPhone using my original phone number, it tells me there is already an account associated with it. Additionally, I am unable to update my email address to my iPhone email. The website that should guide me on updating these details does not offer any solutions on how to reset everything and commence afresh.

My delivery arrived 20 minutes late because the driver missed the directions at the bottom of my order. The correct address is different from the GPS location due to a resident-only gate issue. I had to guide the driver over the phone, resulting in melted ice cream upon delivery from a nearby restaurant. I am disappointed with the service and would appreciate some form of compensation for this inconvenience.

Hello, I apologize for the inconvenience. I recently placed an online order with my go-to Chinese restaurant. The $6.00 delivery fee from south Boston to south Boston seemed excessive. Typically, I don't scrutinize the receipt because I am a frequent customer, but upon reflection, I find this charge unjustifiable. I feel that the DoorDash service appears misleading. Although I doubt I will receive a refund, I urge the company to reassess their approach, especially for local deliveries like mine.
