I inadvertently ended up with two bookings on Delta and now need to cancel two one-way flights. Initially, I booked a Delta flight (Booking Reference: GA88XO) through Expedia on 8/3/21. On 8/7/21, I received an email from Expedia indicating an itinerary change, which I acknowledged. The next day, another email from Expedia mentioned that the original flight was canceled by Delta, and I was advised not to contact Expedia unless the flight was within 72 hours. Consequently, on 8/9/21, believing my initial booking (GA88XO) was no longer valid, I booked two one-way flights directly on DELTA.com for the same trip. However, on the same day, Delta sent me an email with yet another change to my original booking, which I accepted. Realizing the misunderstanding, I promptly attempted to cancel the two mistakenly booked one-way flights with Delta (Booking References: F8FFMK; F9HPR5) from the day before.

I believe we selected Comfort Plus for our upcoming flights on August 27 and 29 from Medford to Billings, Montana with a layover in SLC. However, the booking for the Medford to Billings leg does not reflect this. I spent 5 hours at the airport trying to resolve this with Delta, only to be directed to Travelocity. Travelocity informed me that upgrading from Economy to Comfort Plus was not possible. This is concerning as we were looking to make the journey more comfortable for my husband, who is 6'3" and recovering from a double hernia operation. The upgrade would cost $[redacted] more per ticket, totaling $[redacted] for both of us. Could you please assist us in upgrading to Comfort Plus for the Medford to Billings flight on August 27th? If possible, kindly arrange for an agent to contact me at [redacted].

Our flight to Charleston, SC was canceled. We were rebooked to Atlanta for Friday, but the departure kept getting delayed for the same reasons as the initial cancellation. Unfortunately, we missed our mother's funeral in South Carolina due to the repeated delays and need our luggage, which is now in Charleston, returned to us. One of the bags contains food that must be spoiled by now. We are urgently trying to reach a representative at Delta's Baggage Claim in Charleston, SC.

Our luggage is missing and stuck in Dallas instead of arriving in Bogota, Colombia. We were assured that it would be on its way, but it hasn't reached its destination yet. We urgently need our forest green Swiss Tech suitcase, with the label 'Mrs Sydnie Benjelloun' on a white tag, to be sent from Dallas to Bogota today under Caleb Albright's name. Thank you.

My elderly mother is facing issues with her Delta Skymiles account. She forgot her password and security answers. Despite numerous attempts to reset it, we have been unsuccessful. After providing proof of identity, the account was said to have no password or security questions set up. We were advised to create a new account, but the process is hindered by the continuous request for a password and unclear security question answers. Attempts to reach customer service have been challenging due to long waiting times and unhelpful responses. We seek assistance in resolving this matter promptly to allow my mother access to her account.

I had a flight planned from Cairo, Egypt to Washington DC, arriving around 5 AM on Egyptair on August 12, [redacted]. I had connecting flights on DL [redacted] from Washington DC at 10:03 AM to Detroit, followed by DL [redacted] at 1:05 PM to Lansing on the same day. Egyptair refused my boarding due to the requirement for a PCR COVID test despite showing proof of vaccination. As a result, I missed all my flights. I have rebooked a new flight from Cairo to Washington DC on August 27, arriving on August 28 around 5 AM. I am attempting to change my Delta flights from Washington DC to Detroit and Detroit to Lansing to August 28, but the online system is not allowing me to do so. It seems that my previous check-in status is causing issues in making the changes. The booking reference I have is GEAXLM.

I am writing to share a frustrating experience I encountered while attempting to book online on 9/16/21. Despite multiple attempts to use my ecredit, I was unsuccessful. Resorting to searching for a contact number, I spoke with a customer service representative who redirected me to another [redacted] number where I waited on hold for an additional two hours until I finally gave up around 2 am. The following day, after another failed online booking attempt, I spent another two hours trying to reach a representative. Eventually, I connected with a friendly agent who was able to book our flights. My dissatisfaction stems from the difficulty in using ecredit on your website, causing unnecessary stress and disappointment. The overall experience fell short of my expectations with Delta, leading me to reconsider booking with them in the future.

As a Canadian resident, I had planned to travel to Chicago by land to catch my flight to Arizona. Due to the extended nonessential travel ban in the states, I am unable to cross the border to attend my flights. I had carefully scheduled this trip to align with the expected lifting of the non-essential travel restrictions after August 21st, but unfortunately, this has been prolonged. I find myself in a situation where I cannot make this flight due to circumstances beyond my control. I am seeking a full refund for my ticket. Being a student, it is financially challenging to lose out on such an amount, especially when the ticket terms state that it is "non-refundable." I hope for a prompt response to this matter.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have experienced the cancellation of 7 consecutive cruises and related flights, including 2 transatlantic cruises. We have rebooked 5 cruises from now until April [redacted], with only the last one requiring air travel as we preferred to stay closer to home for the other 4. Our April [redacted] Transatlantic Cruise is especially significant as it marks our 50th Anniversary. Due to previously cancelled Hawaii Cruises and associated Delta flights, we have Delta eCredits that need to be used by December 31, [redacted]. However, our last cruise ends in London on April 29, [redacted], which is when we plan to return home. To address this challenge and utilize our eCredits towards our April [redacted] Delta replacement flights, I am requesting a 4-month extension on the expiration of our eCredits until the end of April [redacted] from Delta.

Last night I realized I needed to change my flight and attempted a same-day change. When I accepted the confirmed flight and proceeded to pay, I encountered an error message stating the request couldn't be processed. After trying again, it charged my card a second time, but this time I was no longer checked in. I've been on hold for hours, with varying wait times given. This experience has caused me to miss two flights, and as a Platinum elite member, it's frustrating that I can't get assistance promptly.

Good evening, On August 14, [redacted], my partner and I flew from Atlanta to Cabo for our first vacation in 9 months, seeking relaxation. We had pre-paid for two suitcases to streamline check-in, but the experience turned into a nightmare. Initially, the first suitcase was under the weight limit, but once mine was weighed, the first one was removed. We were then directed to another line where we had to pay $[redacted] for being 5lbs over the limit. It was frustrating as I could have easily redistributed items if given the chance. The handling of the situation caused significant stress. The Delta employee seemed clueless, causing a 30-minute delay until a manager intervened. The employee's rudeness and lack of competence made the experience even worse, nearly prompting us to abandon the trip. Despite residing in Atlanta, this negative encounter questions our loyalty to Delta. The overall ordeal of paying for a suitcase on an international flight became even more exasperating due to the mishandling by Delta staff. Valerie M. and Michael M.

I had difficulty booking a flight online; hence, I tried over the phone. After being on hold for over three hours, I had to hang up. I tried again this morning, managed to book the flight, but it cost over $60 more than before. The agent mentioned they couldn't assist and advised me to reach out here. As a loyal Delta customer, I find this situation unfair. During my last booking six months ago, I was on hold for six hours. I kindly request a refund for the price difference. Thank you. - Harold Lass

On August 4th, during my journey from DUS, the flight from AMS to ATL DL [redacted] faced a delay, causing all travelers to wait for hours in the hallway upon landing before proceeding to immigration. Due to the congestion from multiple incoming flights, I experienced further delays past 10 pm, leading to a missed connection to Orlando. Following a rebooking by Delta, I stayed at the Radisson hotel at the airport, incurring a cost of $[redacted]. I have attached the credit card charge and boarding passes for your reference. While Delta efficiently managed the rebooking, there was no agent available to provide a hotel voucher. I kindly request a refund of the $[redacted] hotel expense in Atlanta. Please find attached the necessary documentation. Thank you. - Claudia A.

I had booked a first-class cabin with sleeper seats, but due to an aircraft change, I was placed in a traditional first-class seat without being consulted or receiving credit for the class change. I am requesting that for the remaining two legs of my round trip flight, which are currently in ComfortPlus, Delta upgrades me. I believe this is a reasonable solution since I paid for a different experience and was provided with another. I spent nearly $[redacted] on a round trip to Houston, which is typically a much cheaper flight in coach, and only one leg of my trip is in first class. If first-class seats are unavailable, I kindly ask to have miles credited to my Delta SkyMiles account so I can enjoy a sleeper seat on a future flight. Your assistance with this matter would be greatly appreciated. -Matthew W. C. Conf. #CYLDDJ [redacted]–[redacted]

Hi, my name is Dorothy T. I recently made changes to my September 3rd flight, which increased the fare by $61. However, upon checking my bank account, I noticed I have been double charged for this adjustment, resulting in two charges of $61 each, totaling $[redacted]. I believe I am owed a reimbursement of $61 from Delta for the overcharge. I attempted to contact Delta by phone, but the long seven-hour wait time was not feasible. The ticket number associated with this issue is [redacted][redacted]. Unfortunately, I do not have the flight number as it was not provided in the receipt for the additional charge. Despite this inconvenience, I appreciate your attention to this matter and prompt resolution as I have always had positive experiences traveling with Delta. Thank you for your assistance in rectifying this billing discrepancy. Dorothy

I tried to book a first-class ticket from Denver, CO to Portland, OR for Saturday, September 18th. My preferred flights are DL2630 and DL2406. I have a $[redacted] eCredit from Delta. Although the email states the credit expires on August 31st, when I try to apply it to the fare stating it expires on September 1st, it says it has expired. I feel frustrated because today is August 31st, not September 1st, and the email clearly indicated I could use it today. However, when I attempt to book, it says the eCredit has expired, and I must pay the full fare. Delta needs to resolve this issue promptly and honor the expiration date promised in the email. I hope Delta can rectify this situation and make up for the inconvenience caused by this mix-up.

I booked a flight from Las Vegas to Honolulu departing on October 19th at 6:11 AM. We have connecting flights with Delta to reach our destination. However, our seating arrangements have been changed without our consent despite paying extra to sit together. In the initial booking, my wife, Lina A. Teanio, had seat 23A; I, Lawrance M. Teanio, had seat 23B; my son, Justin M. Teanio, had seat 23F; Faith Samantha Sa Cruz had seat 23E; and Peter Paul Santia Cruz had seat 23D. Subsequently, our seats on different flights are scattered. I have tried contacting customer service to rectify this issue but have been unsuccessful. As my wife uses a cane, it is essential for us to sit together. Your assistance in resolving this matter before our trip in October would be greatly appreciated.

I had a Delta ticket booked through ASAP for a flight from Vancouver to Entebbe, Uganda on the 7th of September. I arrived with a negative antigen COVID test, but KLM refused to board me, insisting on a PCR test. I am struggling to get in touch with ASAP to rebook my ticket, as they are not responding. My ticket number is JQNLJI (JMURH3) with Delta Airlines. I am stuck in Vancouver and need assistance, please.

I am located just one hour away from Buffalo Airport in Canada. I urgently need to return to the Philippines for my brother's ashes interment after his sudden death from cardiac arrest. The nearest family member is in Norfolk, VA, and we plan to meet in DTW before flying to the Philippines. Due to limited open airports in Canada at the time of booking, my flight was reserved from BUF, assuming that the US-Canada border would open for land crossing by August 21. Unfortunately, the US has not reciprocated the opening. I am facing several challenges: 1. How can I cross the border if the US side remains closed? 2. Initially, I considered crossing the bridge on foot and taking a taxi in the US, but uncertainty remains if US immigration will permit this. Additionally, the early flight time necessitates starting the journey in the dark and alone. 3. While flights from YYZ to DTW are available, missing my initial flight from BUF could lead to the cancellation of the entire trip, especially since I used skymiles. Changing my flight from BUF to DTW to YYZ to DTW would solve many issues. I am willing to pay for the YYZ to DTW flight if needed, as long as it remains connected to the entire itinerary. The return flight from DTW to BUF is manageable as I can arrange transportation to the border where Canadian authorities will permit my entry. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
