I set up my Coinbase account a few months ago without any issues connecting my bank and debit card. Recently, I tried to explore Coinbase Plus but found it overwhelming. I struggled to understand how to transfer funds. Now, I'm back on Coinbase, but I can't link my PNC bank account because it's under my wife's name, and initially, I didn't use the two small deposit verification method. Despite being married for 32 years with the same last name, the system won't recognize the bank connection due to the order of our names. As I don't have a credit card, only our joint checking account and debit card, I'm unable to fund or withdraw from my account. I feel stuck with no options. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. - Ed & Deborah A Patronick

In April, I obtained a new SIM card from T-Mobile, which resulted in a new phone number for me. I attempted to update this new number on my Coinbase account settings, but I was automatically signed out. I tried logging back in, but the verification codes were still being sent to my old number, which I had already changed. A few days later, I reverted back to my old number using the same new T-Mobile SIM card. After raising a complaint with Coinbase regarding my 2FA issues, I submitted the requested ID proof and other necessary information. Following this, I received an email about my account recovery. Unfortunately, I accidentally disabled my account by clicking on a link in another email. For nearly 2 months now, I have been unable to access my account, and I keep getting a message saying "sorry, account temporarily disabled." Despite ongoing daily maintenance, the issues remain unresolved. I have attempted to contact their customer service via calls and emails, but the service has been disappointing. My main goal is to regain access to my account. Thank you.

When calling customer service, I expect to receive assistance. However, I have been unable to access my account for more than two years due to lack of support. The automated response claims my phone number doesn't match records, which is not true. I know my own phone number. I am frustrated that I cannot speak to anyone to fix this issue. Without access, I can't use two-factor verification or inquire about the authentication app. Despite sending multiple emails in the past two years, nothing has been resolved. Every response is the same canned reply. Sharing my email may be futile given the current system's limitations. It's been a frustrating experience dealing with this customer service.

I received an email on May 4, [redacted], which I suspected to be a phishing scam. Consequently, I reached out to Coinbase Customer Service via email to address my concerns. They requested that I forward the email for review and investigation. Following their instructions, I changed my password and provided them with the necessary details. Subsequently, my account was locked on May 4th. Since then, I have been unable to access my account while urgently needing to complete a crucial financial transaction involving my cryptocurrency funds. Despite multiple attempts to contact them, I have not received any response. Initially, they mentioned the issue would be resolved within 4-5 business days, preventing me from accessing my funds for 51 days now. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. - P. W.

I lost my phone and contacted to lock my account. After finding my phone, I've tried multiple times to unlock my account. I have received case numbers ******** and ********. I was told twice that I would be contacted in * to * business days, waited ** days, and then told to wait again. It has been a month now, and there has been no response. This situation is becoming incredibly frustrating. Please unlock my account!

My spouse and I have a Citibank account. On June 24, a pop-up appeared on the Citibank account website prompting me to click to speak with a service representative. The individual claimed to be a Citibank representative, but I later discovered it was a Coinbase representative named S. Pollock at phone number [redacted]. Without realizing, $9,[redacted] was taken from my wife's account and $4,[redacted] from mine. I immediately requested to cancel this transaction. When I followed up today, I found the phone number for the Coinbase representative was disconnected. I have contacted Citibank's fraud unit, and if I do not receive aid, I will file a police report.

On 5/24/[redacted], I received a text message from Coinbase regarding a request for a release of funds from a new IP address without my authorization. After contacting support, my account was blocked. Coinbase responded by requesting security measures to restore account access, including scanning devices for viruses, resetting email and Coinbase passwords to unique ones, and contacting the mobile service provider for additional security measures. I followed the steps provided but have yet to receive any response despite sending seven reminders. I am seeking assistance to resolve this issue. Thank you. - John F.

On June 27th, around 3:15 p.m., I successfully transferred some Ethereum, but encountered issues when trying to send Bitcoin. Although I could see my balance, I couldn't complete the transfers. Initially, I didn't think it was a significant problem. However, during the following week, when I tried to move assets, I realized it was more serious. Despite seeing my asset balances, I couldn't transfer them to a crypto address due to the same "no funds available" message. On July 2nd, I received a concerning login message at 6:06 p.m. prompting me to visit a disable page, which I did, but it didn't load. I contacted Coinbase, and they disabled my account without further communication since July 3rd. I've followed their security steps, but I strongly believe the issue isn't on my end as I maintain updated devices with Norton [redacted] protection. I'm eager to resume trading and hope for frequent updates, unlike the current silence. Disappointed in Coinbase's performance, I may escalate this if necessary. Their lack of communication is unacceptable, and I regret having to consider involving consumer protection agencies.

I opened an account a few years ago but haven't checked it in a while. I know my username and reset my password, but I'm now being asked for a security code sent to my old phone, which I no longer have. I've been trying to reach out for a year without success. I need access to my account to withdraw my coins and close it. How can I do this if I no longer have access to the phone number linked to my account from years ago? It's frustrating and seems like a waste of time. Please assist me. - T. Adams

I erroneously transferred [redacted],[redacted],[redacted] SHIB tokens to my Coinbase account instead of my connected wallet. Following a successful transaction confirmation email, I've been unable to locate the tokens on my account as SHIB is not supported on Coinbase. Despite reaching out over 30 times in a week, Coinbase has been unhelpful, only stating they are reviewing my account without providing a resolution. I requested the tokens be moved internally to my wallet, but they refused. They even declined to confirm seeing the tokens, although acknowledging the completed transaction. I have escalated the issue to the BBB, but Coinbase remains unresponsive. I am seeking guidance on how to recover my tokens, as direct communication with Coinbase support is not an available option.

I urgently need assistance. My account was unlawfully accessed on June 22, [redacted], and approximately $5,[redacted] was transferred to an unknown credit card. The hacker additionally sold my Bitcoin and Ethereum. While I managed to recover the funds taken via PayPal, the perpetrator gained entry to my Coinbase account through PayPal, as I hadn't enabled two-factor authentication. The hacker went on to set up two-factor authentication without my consent, leaving me unable to access my account. A Russian phone number, [redacted][redacted], was linked to PayPal during the illicit activity. The payment made on June 22nd was redirected to another individual's credit card. I request that the current two-factor verification be removed as it was not authorized by me. Assistance in rectifying this issue would be greatly appreciated. Best, Stefan Sauter (Address redacted)

I'm seeking assistance from Coinbase support but have not received any response to my emails. Despite my professional approach, it seems like they are ignoring me. I transferred all my savings to tokens in the Coinbase account instead of the wallet, and I cannot locate them. If I could see them or transfer them to my Coinbase wallet, it would greatly improve my situation. I would appreciate a response to alleviate my growing concerns. Thank you.

I am having trouble verifying my account using my expired Driver's License ID. I believe the issue may be due to its expiration on December 16, [redacted], or it being too blurry. I have been in Jamaica since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, taking care of my elderly mother. Unfortunately, my license expired before I could return home because of lockdown restrictions. While I have a valid Jamaican Driver's Licence and phone number, I would like to update my account with my Jamaican information since I will be in Jamaica frequently. I have attempted the verification process multiple times following the instructions received via email but have been unsuccessful. I kindly request a phone call to assist me with this issue. Being locked out of my account a week ago initiated this process, and I rely on my account daily for various activities. Your prompt help in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your assistance and understanding.

My Coinbase account was compromised in May [redacted]. I contacted Coinbase, and they initiated an investigation by combining case numbers [redacted]6 and [redacted]4. Following their instructions, I changed my password, but I am still unable to access my account as it remains blocked. Coinbase mentioned the resolution might take some time. However, it has now been over a month, and I am uncertain about the current status. I am eager to regain access to determine if there are any funds remaining in my account. Could you please assist me in obtaining an update on my account's status and provide guidance on how I can successfully access it? Your help is greatly appreciated.

I have uploaded my driver's license multiple times, but every time I attempt to take courses and quizzes to earn cryptocurrency, I am asked to upload my ID again. This has put me in an endless loop. Please do not just send an FAQ link and close the ticket, as that does not resolve the issue. After the GetHuman Tweet, Coinbase replied with: Be cautious of scammers requesting to contact them through DMs or Instagram. Our official means of communication is via email. Kindly reach out to us at [redacted], so a specialist can assist you with resolving this matter.

Good morning Sir, I am experiencing issues with the two-factor authentication on my account. I have tried the recovery process several times by entering a new email address, but I keep receiving error messages. I do not recall setting up an authenticator when I created my account in [redacted] or [redacted]. Despite downloading Google Authenticator, adding my EAN code link, and scanning the QR Code from when I first created my account, the recovery process is not working. I researched solutions online and was willing to provide my ID, but that did not help either. My email address linked to the account is "[redacted]" Best Regards, Olivier R.

I deposited $[redacted].00 from my Navy Federal account into a Coinmama account on 7/16/21. However, on 7/19/21, I received an email stating that my account could not be approved for purchases, with no reasons given. I replied asking for a refund, but I have not received the money back or a response yet. Email from Coinmama: Hi Austin, Thank you for reaching out to us. Unfortunately, we couldn't approve your account for purchases, and we can't disclose the reasons behind it. You might need to use another service for buying digital currency. Apologies for any inconvenience. My email to Coinmama: Please refund the $[redacted].00 withdrawn on 7/16/21. Kind regards, Austin Kreider

I recently discovered unauthorized transfers to Coinbase from my bank account due to a phone hacking incident. I promptly locked my account but then faced difficulty accessing it as the 2FA verification codes were sent to an unrecoverable phone number. Despite reaching out to Coinbase support via email multiple times, the only response I received was an email confirming an Ethereum purchase on June 28 without my knowledge. It's now July 24, and I still haven't received any further assistance, even though I urgently need to log in to provide my bank with transaction records. I find this lack of response highly frustrating and consider it poor customer support. To resolve this issue, I need Coinbase to allow me access to my account by disabling the 2FA security key so I can update my phone number.

I recently received a notification about a successful login to my Coinbase Pro account that I didn't make. There have been issues with transferring assets and a discrepancy in the available funds for sending assets. I decided to disable my account until I figure out what was happening. I suspect the transfer problem might be due to limit sell orders on the assets. I've been trying to get help from Coinbase for about a month now, but they have not provided a clear update despite saying it should take only a few business days. I just want to ensure the safety of my remaining assets and regain access to my account for trading. I am frustrated with the lack of progress and the repeated promises of quick responses that never happen. I believe the delay is on their end as I promptly reply to their emails. I use biometric login for security. I hope to receive updates soon, preferably through a phone call with an account specialist.
