I created an account on care.com in June and initially signed up for a one-month subscription to message users. However, when reviewing my transactions, I noticed that I was charged for July and August as well. I have not used the account since the first month and only intended to pay for one month. I would like a refund for the additional charges. I found it expensive to initially pay $40 for one month, let alone being charged for three months. I need assistance with my care.com account as it was unexpectedly deleted. I have been a member for about 5 years. I suspect the issue arose when I changed my name due to marriage and also relocated to a new state. This caused a delay in me being able to complete a background check as I was waiting for my updated license. Once I received my new license and attempted to proceed with the background check, I discovered my account had been removed and I am unable to create a new one. Despite reaching out to customer service, I have not received any callbacks. I had a paid subscription, and not being able to access my account is causing me frustration as it is impacting my ability to find a job, especially as I have a child to care for while working. Immediate resolution is crucial in this matter.

I cancelled my subscription on 11/21. I completed your survey regarding my reasons for cancelling and rated the service. Despite this, I was billed again on 11/30 for $39 by care.com. I have followed the cancellation process once more by completing the survey explaining my decision. Why am I being charged again? I have not contacted anyone after my initial cancellation on 11/21 and was unable to find a babysitter. This situation feels deceitful. Please refund the money you deducted on 11/30 after I had cancelled and ensure my account is indeed cancelled. During the holiday season, it is distressing to encounter such practices, especially when finances are tight for buying gifts for my son. Kindly show some compassion in this matter.

I've been attempting to access my car account for the past three days without success. I am currently using a computer, but it's stating that there is no account linked to my email address, [redacted] I'm simply trying to understand the situation regarding my account. Please cancel my membership account as I am retiring from a job I have held for 14 months, which I have loved and will cherish. I appreciate all the opportunities this site has provided me over the last 8 years. I no longer wish to receive assistance from this site due to a negative review left on December 8th by someone who doesn't know me. Despite indicating in my profile that I am part-time and follow COVID guidelines, this person was unkind. I have attempted to close my account following your 7-step process four times. The system states my account will be closed on 10/01/21, but I am facing issues with someone tampering with my account. I request immediate closure as dealing with this negative review has been more challenging than deleting past ones from years ago. Kindly cancel my account. Thank you, Brenda T.

We are being charged $57 per month for services we cannot utilize, and I did not agree to this. I only checked once to find a driver for my dog's vet visit, but we are now being billed monthly until March without consent. Due to my parents being in assisted living with full services and restricted by COVID-19, we do not require these services. I will pay for the current month as I did seek a driver once, but I will contest any additional charges.

I am experiencing difficulty logging into the apps on my Android device. The login screen appears different from the usual one and when I enter my email and password, it keeps prompting me to input an email, despite already having done so. I used to access the app on an old Apple phone, which is no longer working for me. Currently, I can only log in on my MacBook Pro. This situation is frustrating because I am a paying monthly user of the service and I have been unable to find a resolution by exchanging emails. I need direct assistance to troubleshoot this issue. Hello, I recently got a new phone and I'm having trouble setting up the care app to receive messages. I was charged the annual $14.99 subscription fee, even though I did not authorize any new charges. Despite trying to cancel my subscription on the website immediately, I was unsuccessful and had to resort to deactivating my account altogether. I am seeking a refund for this charge as I did not intentionally sign up for it. When attempting to contact customer service by phone, the automated system failed to properly record my message as there was no beep to indicate the recording had started. It has been frustrating not to be able to speak with anyone directly. Your company's lack of accessibility and the difficulty in canceling subscriptions is disappointing.

I registered for a one-month membership and contacted your company to confirm no additional charges post the first month. A representative assured me there wouldn't be any problems. Despite that, I have been billed for multiple months with no success in obtaining a refund. While my membership was eventually downgraded today, I am seeking reimbursement for the following months as I specifically called to ensure I wouldn't be charged after the first month. A few weeks ago, I started setting up a caregiver account but only got as far as my bio before deciding to switch to pet care. Unfortunately, the platform doesn't allow me to make that change now. I tried filling my bio with random letters, hoping to edit it later, but that didn't work. I even considered deleting my account to start fresh, but that's not an option. I'm waiting for my account to be reviewed, but I'm worried it will be denied due to the incomplete bio. I encountered an issue when I was logged out of my app account. Upon trying to log back in, I mistakenly used an old email address associated with an account I had created years ago. It insisted on a payment for a background check, preventing me from realizing this was my old account. I had recently paid for a background check on my current account just weeks ago, leaving me baffled and frustrated. I re-joined Care.com as a caregiver in January [redacted]. I was charged in January, February, and in March after updating my profile. I paid for the background check "badge" and received congratulatory emails saying I could start applying for positions. However, just 8 hours later, I was notified that they had canceled my account without providing a reason. I had a clean background check from a reputable site, yet my membership was terminated. Despite numerous emails requesting a refund, I have not received any response apart from an automated message promising a reply within 24 hours. It has been over a week with no further communication. I feel it is unfair that I was charged for three months, received positive emails, and then abruptly had my account canceled. I simply want a refund. Thank you. - Tracilee G.

I am requesting a complete refund for the charges on my account. The address linked to this account is outdated by almost 2 years, indicating my lack of use of the service. Despite having my own business and nearing the completion of my graduate studies, I have not utilized Care.com nor signed up for any payment plan. If a full refund is not issued, I will escalate this matter to the Better Business Bureau and involve my bank to pursue fraudulent activity against the company to retrieve the deducted funds. Upon noticing the charges flagged by my accountant, I immediately canceled my membership, only to discover they intend to continue charging me until June. I am prepared to take legal action if the funds are not promptly returned. My bank has been alerted and will block any future transactions from Care.com or its affiliates.

One of my clients required a background check on me before any hiring decisions were made. The report mistakenly listed violations on my driving record under my name, Karen Tschopp #[redacted]91, with reference number Oc46431a-b. The incidents mentioned in the report include an accident on 3/9/20 that was not my fault, an alleged lack of driver's license and insurance which I had, and a DUI on 11/29/19 that I have since rectified by completing a safe driver's course and having my license reinstated after paying fines. Due to these inaccuracies, my membership with Care.com was suspended. I am seeking assistance in disputing these charges so that my membership can be reinstated promptly as it has already been paid for. I appreciate any help in resolving this matter.
