I have been unable to pay my Capital One bill online for the last four months. Despite providing an email for verification purposes during a call with the tech department, I am still facing issues. Even though I managed to pay my husband's bill this month, I encountered difficulties paying mine online. After several attempts and hours spent with tech support, the problem persists. Unlike other credit card companies I use, such as Amex, Citi, Discover, and Chase, this hassle with Capital One is unacceptable. I am determined to pay online and not over the phone. I am seeking a lasting solution to this ongoing payment issue. Thank you.

I have encountered an issue with my Capital One Auto Finance account [redacted]. The vehicle has been taken out of state without my consent, and unauthorized drivers have been using it. Despite my attempts to retrieve it, I've faced conflicting advice from local law enforcement and my attorney. My insurance provider has warned me that if the car is not returned, my rates will increase significantly since I am the legal owner. To resolve the situation, I am seeking Capital One's assistance in recovering the vehicle by issuing a recovery order for towing to a nearby General Motors dealership for a new key. If unsuccessful, I may struggle to maintain my monthly payments or return the vehicle to Capital One, risking my account standing. I am eager for a resolution to preserve the account's status. Thank you for your attention to this matter. - Leslie P. [redacted]

My Capital One credit card was approaching [redacted] days past due. I contacted them on the 180th day to arrange a payment plan as I was recently laid off but found a new job and could now make payments. Unfortunately, I lost my wallet and had to cancel my cards, waiting for new ones. With money in my PayPal account, I used my account number and routing number to make a payment, which was rejected on the 184th day. After finally obtaining my debit card, attempts to pay failed due to a PayPal error, eventually resolved after a lengthy call. Despite having sufficient funds, PayPal initially declined the transaction for reasons unknown to me. I promptly provided my debit card details to Capital One, only to be informed that my account was closed and charged off. Seeking to rectify this, I reached out multiple times, with no success in reconnecting with the right department at Capital One. I have proof from PayPal documenting their mistake, hoping to resolve this issue.

After my account was delinquent, I connected a bank account online to settle payments. I informed customer service that I paid the full balance of $[redacted], even though my credit limit is $[redacted]. Despite understanding late fees and interest, I expected immediate card use post-payment. However, I discovered that I needed to wait for the payment to process. Hours later, I found the payment processed but my account was now labeled as RESTRICTED. I'm eager to utilize the card after settling my debt and seek a credit limit increase. The restriction has placed me and my family in a challenging situation, relying on the credit card for support. Kindly remove the restriction promptly.

I'm Kevin Williams. I have 2 Capital One cards. Upon reviewing my credit report, I noticed both accounts show as late in January. However, I believe I submitted the payments a few days late but not 30 days overdue. My bank confirms I made 2 payments in January to Capital One. These late marks are affecting my home purchase planned in 2 weeks as it lowered my credit score. Is there a way to have them removed considering I am not actually late and often pay ahead of schedule? My address is [redacted] Poplar Drive, Alexandria, VA [redacted], SSN ending in [redacted]. The accounts end in [redacted] and [redacted]. The January payments were on 1/17 and 1/28 and were not late. I seek your assistance to remove them for a rapid rescore to proceed with my first home purchase. Thank you.

I recently applied for a credit card, and after contacting the customer service representative Liz, I confirmed that my application was approved. However, when I tried to set up online access, the system couldn't recognize my information. I haven't received any email confirmation regarding the approval, and I am unsure if the card has been issued as it doesn't reflect on my credit report. I provided my application ID number: [redacted][redacted].

I recently paid off the overdraft fee on my debit card that was sent to collections by Capital One. I am aware that it may take 30-60 days to be removed from my records. I attempted to open a new bank account, and the new bank requires proof of payment to Capital One. Despite contacting the branch and customer service multiple times, I have not received the necessary documentation. I have requested to visit the branch or receive an email confirming my payment, but no assistance has been provided. As suggested by my mother, a former Capital One manager, I am considering reaching out to the district or regional manager for assistance with this matter.

I currently have a claim under review with the fair trade practice. There seems to be a confusion regarding a payment made to an account linked to David M., with the account number [redacted][redacted] and a payment of £[redacted].50. I have a Capital One card, but this account is not familiar to me. I attempted to inquire about this today, but had difficulty understanding the representative. This situation has caused a dispute with the fair trade practice. I am unsure why a payment was made to an unfamiliar account if I already have an account with Capital One. I am hopeful to resolve this promptly.

I applied for a Capital One Card back in Fall of [redacted] and was approved. However, the account was never fully opened because I was requested to provide my identification details. Unfortunately, at that time, I had lost my passport and my driver's license had expired, so I had to use a temporary paper copy. Capital One did not accept this paper copy as a sufficient form of ID, which resulted in the account being in 'restricted' status, making it unusable. Eventually, I found my passport and renewed my ID, but due to the inconvenience, I chose to close the account without receiving the welcome bonus points. I am now interested in reapplying for the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card. Before proceeding, I would like confirmation that I am still eligible for the 50,[redacted] mile welcome bonus after spending $3,[redacted] within the first 3 months. If I am eligible, I would like to submit my application. Thank you. Jagruti B.

I contacted Capital One support regarding the interest charge on my fully paid account for March. They explained that it was residual fees from the previous month when I underpaid by $[redacted] due to an error in my payment. I mistakenly believed that the interest charged for the underpayment covered it. I requested they remove the $15.06 residual interest charge due to my good payment history and misunderstanding. Unfortunately, they declined. I am surprised and disappointed by Capital One's decision. I am unsure of my next steps in resolving this issue and ensuring customer satisfaction. Thank you, Mardee C.

I need to speak with a Capital One representative fluent in English who can help me with a fraud issue on my account. I've encountered fraudulent charges on my card, including transactions at Spin in San Francisco and Fashion Nova in Los Angeles on 1 March. Although Capital One issued a new card and cancelled the fraudulent charges, the new card was also misused at Shipt before I could even use it. The suspicious activity seems to have originated from a purchase at Cold Steel Knife Company in California. I suspect someone may have gained access to my card number from that transaction. I've tried to explain this to several customer service representatives in the Philippines, but they couldn't fully understand my concern due to their language limitations. I believe my issue requires attention from someone who can grasp the complexity of the situation and take necessary steps to prevent future fraudulent activities.

I reached out to request a partial refund of my security deposit, but there was some confusion during the call. Instead of processing the refund, my credit limit was decreased. I spoke with a supervisor named Lisa, who has initiated a review process that will take 7-10 business days. The reduced limit has already impacted my online account and may affect my credit score. I am requesting that Capital One reinstates my original card limit of $[redacted] or converts my card to an unsecured one with the same limit. Furthermore, I am seeking a refund of my $[redacted] credit card deposit. This situation has been mishandled, and I am disappointed in how my long-standing business with Capital One has been disregarded.

I recently faced a situation where I had to use a different credit card because Capital One declined my transaction. Unfortunately, this seems to occur frequently, which is why I hesitate to recommend Capital One to anyone I know. Upon inquiring about my transaction limit, I was informed that there is no limit. However, every time I try a large transaction, it is automatically declined. When I suggested calling in advance to notify them of large transactions, I was denied this option. This has left me with a vague limit that is supposed to be unlimited, yet it is clearly not the case. It is frustrating to be a loyal customer who always pays their full balance on time and has never incurred penalties, only to have legitimate transactions declined without the ability to pre-authorize them. The lack of transparency and flexibility in dealing with these issues reflects poorly on Capital One's customer service.

Hello, I am Tajah Peterson. I am working on rebuilding my credit after experiencing bankruptcy two years ago due to a lawsuit. I did not include my credit cards in the bankruptcy and wanted to keep them open. However, some accounts were closed, and I am unsure why. I recently applied for the Quicksilver card and am waiting to hear back in 7-10 days. I hope to be given a second chance as I now understand the importance of handling credit responsibly. I have had a better job since [redacted] and am planning to complete my nursing degree. If my Quicksilver application is unsuccessful, I am open to getting a secured credit card to improve my credit. I am dedicated to proving my commitment to managing credit well. Thank you for considering my request. -Tajah Peterson

I am a long-time customer, Veronica H Foley, with checking, savings, and credit card accounts at your bank. Today, I visited the Mount Vernon N.Y. branch to get a document certified for my ee bonds. Unfortunately, the bank staff was unaware of the certification requirement. I had to contact the treasury department, and one of your representatives had to speak to them. I already knew what needed to be done before visiting the bank. It would be beneficial to have knowledgeable staff to assist customers with such transactions. Since the closure of Capital One Bank in Pelham N.Y., even finding a notary has been difficult. I hope to see improvements in the services provided by your bank in the future.

I am constantly getting unwanted mail from Capitol One addressed to me, but intended for Marc Jenkins of 60 7th Street, Shalimar FL [redacted]. Please update his address in your records to avoid any further mix-ups. If I continue to receive this mail, it will be immediately destroyed. Please ensure that future correspondence for Marc Jenkins reaches him at the correct address. Thank you.

In November [redacted], I contacted a Capital One Investing representative to close my account. After filling out the ACH Authorization Agreement, my father faxed the forms from a Capital One Bank when he was back in the US. Despite several attempts to transfer the funds and numerous emails explaining my difficulty to call due to time zone differences, the company insisted on speaking with me directly. They continued to call family members, like my aunt, who also couldn't facilitate the call. In December [redacted], I once more tried to transfer the money by mailing the ACH forms as requested. Despite my repeated requests for alternative communication methods due to my situation, Capital One Investing did not offer any solutions. They ignored my inquiries for contact information of someone in authority who could help, leaving my funds inaccessible since the account closure. I am now unable to contact them by phone, and I urgently need assistance with transferring my locked-up money into my bank account. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Avital Tamar (Rosenberg) Faig

To Whom It May Concern, I have owned a credit card for just over a year and am seeking a credit limit increase to maintain a high credit score. Currently, my credit score is [redacted] with a $[redacted] debt balance as of April 2, [redacted]. I am capable of paying off the debt in full. When I started college in August [redacted], my payment behavior changed, impacting my credit score. I am now living with my parents again and plan to be financially stable for the next three years while I finish college. I am employed and have enough income to manage my credit card payments. I am looking to increase my credit limit to potentially take out a $5,[redacted] loan for a new car. With responsible financial management, I believe this can help improve my credit score to [redacted]. I have always made on-time payments and have never paid just the minimum amount. If there is any way to increase my credit limit to support my financial goals, it would be greatly appreciated. I had already submitted a request, but I believe an additional explanation could be beneficial. Thank you.

I have recently received my Capital One credit card and followed all the instructions provided. However, after paying my bill in full on March 30, I was shocked to find out that my new credit card was declined when I tried to make a purchase at the store. Embarrassed by the situation, I called your support team five days later only to be informed that my account had been placed on hold. I was not previously notified about this hold and would not have known if I didn't reach out. The support team mentioned that my account will remain on hold until the 7th of the month. It's disheartening to have my trust questioned when I've done my part. I will proceed with making just the minimum payment plus a dollar until the balance is cleared. This lack of communication regarding account holds undermines your reliability as a company. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
