I visited your location at **** Atlanta Highway, Athens, GA at *:** pm. I wanted to purchase the fifty cent coffee which is highly promoted by Burger King. There are no disclaimers as it relates to time of day, availability etc. I was told by the staff, namely Ms. Evans the manager that coffee was not available at that time of day and their containers now had tea. I was told if I wanted to wait twenty minutes, they could go "Out Of Their Way" to brew coffee. I was then told by the front counter associate, "I think Race Trac next door has coffee." I then told Ms. Evans this was not acceptable customer service and I would be contacting Burger King directly. Her direct response was, " I don't care." As a store owner in the past, this would have been grounds for termination if one of my employees, especially a member of the supervisory staff would have displayed a flippant attitude such as this. If I were in charge, I would have first apologized for not having a product that is being promoted and offered an alternative beverage for the same price, other coffee related products or some positive effort to maintain good customer relations. Thank you for at least hearing me out.
