The issue in GetHuman-rnriver's own words
My husband and I just went into the Burger King at *** N. Brookhurst, Anaheim, California ***** for breakfast. There was one man in front of me waiting to place his order.*An employee came into the working area behind the counter and proceeded to go around hugging the other employees while customers were waiting to order.*Then she came to the counter to wait on customers with a stone face look, no smile. Her name is Gabby.*I told her I wanted **, just the burrito. I also told her I wanted the pancake and sausage platter. She informed me that the pancakes weren't $.** anymore, but $*.**. She inquired if I was okay with that? I pointed out to her that there was a $*.** price taped on the screen by the pancake and sausage platter listing. She informed me that was there for a lunch item when the menu changes later, not the pancake and sausage platter. I said okay and again repeated that I wanted the pancake and sausage platter. She responded that it was $*.**. I told her that I didn't care what it cost, that's what I wanted. I also asked for two water cups. The order came to $*.**. I gave her $**.** and she gave me back $**.**. She quickly turned away and began speaking with the other employees without giving me the water cups. I went to the side of the counter where the water container is located. Gabby turned and looked at me standing there and then turned away. Finally, I asked her for the water cups, which she gave me along with my order. When I got to the table, I opened the box and there were only pancakes, no sausage. I went back to the counter to tell them that I was charged $*.***for the sausage and pancake platter, but only got pancakes. I think it was the manager I was talking with about the order. I told her that it was Gabby who took the order and I didn't feel that she really listens to what the customer is saying. I had a problem with her before getting my order correct. I told her I just wanted my money back, which she started to do. Then Gabby came up and asked what was the problem? She told me that I had asked for the bigger platter and pointed to it on the menu. I told her it didn't matter which platter I ordered, I didn't get either one. Gabby stated that I had said I wanted the sausage and pancake platter, but that meant something different at this Burger King. By this time, I was livid. I pointed to the menu and said I ordered just what was worded on their menu sign. Now both Gabby and the manager said the sign doesn't say pancake and sausage platter. It was becoming a shouting match and people were staring, so I just asked for my money back. My husband asked for his money back also because of the way I was treated. In total we only received $*.** back. I took a picture of the menu sign showing that it did indeed say pancake and sausage platter and left. As I was walking away, Gabby was talking in Spanish to the next customer about the "senora ". I assume she was referring to me.**I can't believe the way I was treated at this Burger King just trying to get some breakfast. We have been frequent customers there since it opened and had never experienced such unprofessional behavior.
