I deposited a check by mobile phone because the closest Bank of America is * *** hours away. The check is for $**,*** and Bank of America has put a ** day hold on the check. this is a check that I have received since June **** every single month. With the exception of the last seven months Bank of America has cashed that $**,*** check each and every time. It has cleared each and every time. At the top of the check it says it reads “please Post for our mutual customer” yet I am told I cannot have those funds for ** days. My kids need to eat, and I have had to call the North Carolina number in the past and they were kind enough to release it. The check is drawn off of Bank of America. I can take a hold, but ** days? They can verify the money is in the account. I asked customer service if it would help if I had thrvaccoyny owner call the bank? The answer was “no”. ** days, kids need to eat, rent paid etc. please please help!
