How Do I Return Something to Zara?

If you bought something from Zara.com or in a Zara store that didn't work out for you, you probably want to know if you can return it and get a refund. Keep on reading to learn more.

Zara's Return Policy

You can return your purchase within 30 days for any reason and receive your refund on the same payment method used for the purchase. Make your return in one of two ways, to a Zara store or a Zara drop point. If you make the return by drop point, the company deducts a $3.95 return fee from your refund. For gift card purchases, you will receive a voucher card if you've misplaced the gift card.

How to Make a Return to a Zara Store

You can make an in-person return to any Zara store in the same region you made the purchase from. You can locate nearby stores using the Zara store locating tool. You must return Zara Home items in their original packaging. You can return all other Zara items in any sealed package.

You also need the receipt. You can bring a physical receipt, a phone image of your receipt, or the QR code for your purchase. You can find the QR code under "Purchases" in the Zara app. You can also sign into the Zara website and get an electronic copy of your receipt in the Details section of your order. If you purchased the item without signing into a Zara account, as a guest, you can get an electronic copy of the receipt in the email Zara sent you.

How to Make a Return to a Zara Drop Point

You can also take your return to a Zara drop point and ship it back to Zara. If you bought your items as a registered Zara user, follow these instructions:

  1. Sign into your Zara account.
  2. Go to the Returns sections.
  3. Initiate a return request.
  4. Wait for an email from Zara containing one return label for each package.
  5. Print out the labels.
  6. Package up the items you are returning. Zara Home items must be in their original packaging.
  7. Attach a label to each package.
  8. Ship the packages from the drop point indicated in the instructions you receive for the return.

If you purchased your items as a guest, click the link in the email you received to initiate the return process.

Once Zara receives your return and processes it, it will send you a confirmation email. You should receive your refund within 14 days after that. If you do not receive your refund within that time, show the confirmation email to your bank or credit union so it can help you figure out what is going on.

If you are trying to return a large Zara Home item, contact Zara's customer service and ask for help initiating the return. Zara may arrange to pick up the item for you.
