How do I read my natural gas meter?

Asked 6 months ago
To read your natural gas meter, start by locating the meter outside your property. Take note of the 5-digit numbers on the meter dials from left to right. Write down the numbers that the dials point to, except for the last dial on the far right. If the dial is between two numbers, record the lower number. If the hand points directly at a number, only document that number if the dial on the right is at 0 or 9. Submit these numbers to PSNC Energy as they are needed for billing purposes. Remember to take safety precautions and avoid touching the meter or its piping.
