If it's been awhile since you last logged in to your Fingerhut account, you may find that you can no longer access it. You may have changed your computer since then, or gotten a new phone, and don't remember what your sign in information was. If you have a valid Fingerhut account but cannot access it, just follow these steps to fix the problem.
If You Just Forgot Your Password
If you can still access the email account you use to log into Fingerhut, do this:
If You Can No Longer Access Your Sign In Email
If you can't access the email account you use to log into Fingerhut, then you cannot easily recover your password. In that case, use one of these methods:
Use a Linked Email Account
If your Fingerhut sign in email was linked to another email account, perhaps as a recovery email, then do this:
Use Your Credit Report
If you have recently received a credit report, look through it for your Fingerhut account. Your account number may be there, or at least the last few digits might be. Even the last few digits might make it easier for Fingerhut's customer service to find your account. Provide them when calling or emailing their customer service team.
Regain Access by Phone
Call Fingerhut's customer service number. Tell the representative who answers the phone why you cannot access your account anymore. He or she should be able to reset your password for you after you provide enough personal information for them to locate your account and prove your identity.
Regain Access by Email
Email Fingerhut's customer service. Tell them that you can't access your account anymore because you lost access to your sign in email and cannot remember the password. Include your phone number, address, full name, and your customer number, if you have it. It may take some emailing back and forth, but they should be able to find your account and help you regain access.
If you have problems regaining access to your account, contact Fingerhut's customer service department. They have a phone line, a help forum, and a chat option.
GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
After helping consumers for 10 years, we realized that you need an impartial, live person you can talk to about comparing the various TV, cable, Internet and phone plans in your area- somebody who can compare the best deals across telecom providers. So we created a free concierge service you can call at the phone number below.
