Are there any items that 1-800-GOT-JUNK does not accept?

1-800-GOT-JUNK accepts most non-hazardous items that can be safely handled by a two-person crew. However, there are a few exceptions to ensure the safety of our team and comply with regulations. We cannot accept hazardous materials such as automotive fluids, paint, chemicals, or asbestos. Additionally, we do not take certain biological waste, including animal carcasses or human remains. Items that are extremely heavy or oversized, such as pianos or hot tubs, may require special handling or equipment and, therefore, may not be accepted. Ultimately, our goal is to prioritize the safety and well-being of our customers and crews while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
